The was a limited express train operated by East Japan Railway Company (JR East) between , and via . First introduced in 1975, the last service ran on 13 March 2015. History The ''Ayame'' service was first introduced on 10 March 1975, initially as four return workings daily between Tokyo and Kashima-Jingu. The late 1980s saw increased competition from long-distance bus services between Tokyo and Kashima, and from the July 1993 timetable revision, the number of ''Ayame'' services was reduced to three return workings daily. In December 1994, services were further cut back, with just one up service in the morning and one down service in the evening. From the October 2004 timetable revision, the complementary ''Suigō'' limited express ( to via Narita Line) and ''Hometown Narita'' services were discontinued and the number of ''Ayame'' services was correspondingly increased to four up and two down services daily. LPG/C ''Ayame'' is a Very Large Gas Carrier (VLGC), with a capacity of , delivered in 2010 from MHI Ltd. of Nagasaki, and under the management of Wilhelmsen Lines Malaysia. Ship history On 30 April 2010 the LPG carrier ''Ayame'' was completed at the Mitsubishi Heavy Industries Nagasaki Shipyard. A naming ceremony was held on 22 April at the shipyard, with guests including Ikuhiro Ochi, President/Managing Director of the shipowner. Mitsui O.S.K. Lines Managing Executive Officer Tsuneo Watanabe, who named the vessel, and Astomos Energy Corporation Senior Managing Director Tatsuhiko Yamazaki, who cut the rope. Iris Sanguinea
''Iris sanguinea'' is a rhizomatous flowering plant in the genus ''Iris'' and in the series '' Sibiricae''. It is cultivated as an ornamental plant in temperate regions. It is one of the species considered a Japanese iris. It is from Asia, found between Russia, Mongolia, China, Japan and Korea. It has grey green leaves, an unbranched flowering stem and flowers in reddish-purple shades, from blue to blue-purple, red-violet, with a rare white variant. A 2020 taxonomic revision suggests that previously distinguished taxa of ''Iris sanguinea'' and ''Iris sibirica'' bear no Phylogenetics, phylogenetic nor Morphology (biology), morphological distinction. As such, name ''I. sanguinea'' was synonymized with ''I. siberica''. Description It has a thick creeping rhizome.
