Avi Yehiel
Avi Yehiel ( he, אבי יחיאל), (born 26 September 1979) is a former Israeli footballer. Biography In 2012, Yehiel married Adi Newmann, the sister of the founder and former CEO of WeWork, Adam Neumann. After retiring from football in 2013, he worked for WeWork as a wellness coach. Sports career Avi Yehiel first played in Gadna Tel Aviv Yehuda junior team and won with it in the youth national championship. In 1997–1998 went to Hapoel Petah Tikva and played for the first time against Hapoel Tel Aviv FC. Yehiel played in Hapoel Petah Tikva for eight seasons and won the Toto Cup in 2004–2005. In season 2005–2006 went to Maccabi Tel Aviv FC, and scored the equaliser in his first game. Avi Yehiel was a player at the Israel national football team. In his first appearance against Ireland, he scored the equaliser in the 2–2 match. Jaffa
Jaffa, in Hebrew Yafo ( he, יָפוֹ, ) and in Arabic Yafa ( ar, يَافَا) and also called Japho or Joppa, the southern and oldest part of Tel Aviv-Yafo, is an ancient port city in Israel. Jaffa is known for its association with the biblical stories of Jonah, Solomon and Saint Peter as well as the mythological story of Andromeda and Perseus, and later for its oranges. Today, Jaffa is one of Israel's mixed cities, with approximately 37% of the city being Arab. Etymology The town was mentioned in Egyptian sources and the Amarna letters as ''Yapu''. Mythology says that it is named for Yafet (Japheth), one of the sons of Noah, the one who built it after the Flood. The Israel Toto Cup ( he, גביע הטוטו, ''Gvia Ha'Toto'') is an association football tournament that features clubs in the two highest divisions in Israel: the Israeli Premier League ( Ligat Ha'Al), and the second division Liga Leumit. From 1999 to 2009, the tournament was also open to clubs from the third division, until the cancellation of Liga Artzit. The Toto Cup is the third most important competition in Israeli football after the Israeli Premier League and the Israeli State Cup. As it isn't highly regarded, Israeli clubs use the games to rotate their squad and give fringe players and youth players a chance. The Israel national football team has represented Israel in international association football since 1934, when it played its first official game (as Mandatory Palestine or ''Eretz Israel''—"Land of Israel") against Egypt. Hapoel ( he, הפועל, lit. ''the worker'') is an Israeli Jewish sports association established in 1926 by the Histadrut Labor Federation. History During the British Mandate of Palestine period Hapoel had a bitter rivalry with Maccabi and organized its own competitions, with the exception of football, the only sport in which all the organizations played each other. At the time, Hapoel took no part in the ''Eretz Israel Olympic Committee'', which was controlled by Maccabi, and instead sought for international ties with similar workers sports organizations of socialist parties. Therefore, Hapoel became a member of SASI in 1927 and later was a member of CSIT.
