Avakai Biryani
''Avakai Biryani'' () is a 2008 Telugu-language film written and directed by Anish Kuruvilla. Filmed in Telugu, it revolves around Akbar Kalam, a Muslim auto rickshaw-driver and Lakshmi Jandhyala, a traditional Hindu woman with a romantic backdrop. The film stars debutants Kamal Kamaraju and Bindu Madhavi as the lead pair. Plot Avakai Biryani (Pickeled Biryani) is a coming of age story of two individuals from two completely different backgrounds and cultural upbringing. Anish Kuruvilla
Anish Yohan Kuruvilla is an Indian actor and director who predominantly works in the Telugu film industry. Before becoming a director, he was an executive producer with Sekhar Kammula, played the lead role in ''Dollar Dreams'' (2000), and played a supporting role in '' Anand (2004)''. Karthik (born 7 November 1980) is an Indian playback singer and composer. Karthik started his professional singing career as a backing vocalist and has since been working as a playback singer. He has sung more than 8000 songs in 15 Indian languages including Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, Kannada, Odia, Bengali, Marathi and Hindi. Produced jointly by Amigos Creations and National Film Development Corporation of India, the film stars Raja and Kamalinee Mukherjee. The film begins with the death of the family of a young girl as a result of a character's drunken driving. The film sketches the path of the young girl growing up into a woman who lives her life independently and with self-esteem. How the male protagonist enters the woman's life and how they fall in love with each other forms the rest of the story.
