Rockford (film)
''Rockford'' is a 1999 Indian English-language, coming-of-age drama film written, and directed by Nagesh Kukunoor. Produced by Padmini Kolhapure, the film starred Nagesh Kukonoor, Nandita Das, and Rohan Dey in pivotal roles. The film received positive reviews, and was screened at the MAMI Film Festival. Plot Thirteen-year-old Rajesh Naidu arrives at Rockford Boys' High School. Having left home for the first time he is a bit sad. Rajesh's best friends are Selva, a good spirited boy, and David, an arrogant sports hero but with a good heart. The captain of the school – Raja, hates Rajesh. At school, Rajesh experiences the joy and agony of living in an all-male boarding school, learning to fend for himself without the safety net of his parents. Nagesh Kukunoor
Nagesh Kukunoor (born 30 March 1967) is an Indian film director, producer, screenwriter and actor known for his works predominantly in Hindi cinema, and few Telugu language films. He is known for his works in parallel cinema, such as ''Hyderabad Blues'' (1998), '' Rockford'' (1999), ''Iqbal'' (2005), '' Dor'' (2006), ''Aashayein'' (2010), ''Lakshmi'' (2014), and ''Dhanak'' (2016). Kukunoor has received seven International Awards, and two National Film Awards for his works. In 2003, he directed '' 3 Deewarein'', which was showcased among the Indian panorama section, at the 2003 International Film Festival of India. The film was also premiered at the Kolkata Film Festival. Shankar Mahadevan
Shankar Mahadevan (born 3 March 1967) is an Indian singer and composer who is part of the Shankar–Ehsaan–Loy trio that writes music for Indian films. Personal life and early career Shankar Mahadevan was born in Chembur, Mumbai into a Tamil speaking family from Palakkad, Kerala. He learned Hindustani classical and Carnatic music as a child, and began playing the veena at the age of five under Shri Lalitha Venkataraman. Krishnakumar Kunnath (23 August 1968 – 31 May 2022), popularly known as KK, was an Indian playback singer. Regarded as one of the best and most versatile singers in India, he recorded songs in Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, Malayalam, Marathi, Odia, Bengali, Assamese and Gujarati.
