Austria-Hungary, also referred to as the Austro-Hungarian Empire, the Dual Monarchy or the Habsburg Monarchy, was a multi-national constitutional monarchy in Central Europe#Before World War I, Central Europe between 1867 and 1918. Margaret Island
Margaret Island ( ; ) is a long island, wide, ( in area) in the middle of the Danube in central Budapest, Hungary. The island is mostly covered by landscape parks, and is a popular recreational area. Its medieval ruins are reminders of its importance in the Middle Ages as a religious centre. The island spans the area between the ''Margaret Bridge'' (south) and the ''Árpád Bridge'' (north). Before the 14th century the island was called ''Insula leporum'' (Island of Rabbits). Natural capital is the world's stock of natural resources, which includes geology, soils, air, water and all living organisms.
