''Austria's Next Topmodel'' is an Austrian reality television series based on Tyra Banks's '' America's Next Top Model''. The show sees a series of aspiring models that compete against each other in different competitions, determining who will win the title of ''Austria's Next Topmodel'', among other prizes, with the hope of a successful career in the modeling industry. History For the first four cycles, the show was hosted by Lena Gercke, the winner of the first cycle of '' Germany's Next Topmodel''. Gercke is the first ''Top Model'' winner to become the host of a ''Top Model'' series. The judging panel for the show's first cycle consisted of the head of Vienna-based modeling agency Wiener Models, Andrea Weidler, and runway coach Alamande Belform. It aired from January to February 2009 and was won by Larissa Marolt. Germany's Next Topmodel (cycle 1)
Germany's Next Topmodel Cycle 1 is the first season of '' Germany's Next Topmodel'' (often abbreviated to GNTM) that aired on German television network ProSieben. The show started airing on 25 January 2006 with twelve girls in the competition. 18-year-old Lena Gercke came off as this season's winner. She became a successful model after the show and the host of Austria's Next Topmodel. IMG Models manages the winner and also managed first runner-up and second runner-up for one year. The first season copied many photo shoot ideas from '' America's Next Top Model'', especially from the first season. Austria's Next Topmodel (cycle 3)
Season 3 of Austria's Next Topmodel aired on Puls 4 from January to March 2011. The judging panel consisted of Lena Gercke, Elvyra Geyer, and Atil Kutoglu. Among the prizes were a cover on Austrian magazine ''Woman'', the face of the newest ''Hervis'' campaign as well as two runway jobs at the Milan and Paris Fashion Week. The first episode featured contestants in all nine Austrian federal states and the top four from each state automatically qualified for a spot in the first episode. The top four competed again with the favorite of each state making the final cast directly. Five more contestants were granted wildcard spots, making a total of 14 competing in the remaining episodes. Another change was that there was one casting to book in every episode where the actual job would take place abroad, however only the winner would be allowed to travel there. '' Austria's Next Topmodel, season 2'' was the second season of the Austrian reality documentary based on Tyra Banks' '' America's Next Top Model''. Once again Lena Gercke hosted the show while runway coach Alamande Belfor was replaced by former model and fashion photographer Andreas Ortner. Sabine Landl, who was the styling expert in season 1, also became a permanent member of the jury. Like last year, the winner was represented by ''Wiener Models''. '' Austria's Next Topmodel – Boys & Girls'' (stylized as Austria's Next Topmodel boysןɹıƃ), the sixth season of ''Austria's Next Topmodel'', aired from September to December 2014. Model Melanie Scheriau returned to present the series for a second season, while panelists Carmen Kreuzer and Rolf Scheider were replaced by male models Papis Loveday and Michael Urban. Germany's Next Topmodel (cycle 4)
'' Germany's Next Topmodel, Cycle 4'' is the fourth season of the show that was aired on the German television network ProSieben. The show started airing on 12 February 2009. In difference to former seasons the show saw a significant change as the audition process was completely open this time whereas every model-wannabe got a chance to audition in front of the jury led by Heidi Klum. The numbers of applications were 1,104 in Düsseldorf, 1,376 in Munich and 18,786 who applied before via mail. Larissa-Antonia Marolt (born 10 July 1992 in Klagenfurt) is an Austrian fashion model and actress. She was the winner of the first cycle of ''Austria's Next Topmodel''. After her victory she also participated in the fourth season of ''Germany's Next Top Model'', where she was placed eighth. Early life Marolt was raised in the Carinthian town of St. Kanzian, where her father, Heinz Anton Marolt, a former member of the Austrian Freedom Party and retired local politician, owns a hotel. She has three siblings (two brothers and one older sister). Marolt attended a Gymnasium and passed her A-Levels in 2010. As a 14 year old, she was active in the youth theater club of the Klagenfurt City Theater, where she was discovered as a model.
