Australian Cricket Team In New Zealand In 1992–93
The Australia national cricket team toured New Zealand from February to March 1993 and played a three-match Test series against the New Zealand national cricket team. The Test series was drawn 1–1. New Zealand were captained by Martin Crowe and Australia by Allan Border. In addition, the teams played a five-match series of Limited Overs Internationals (LOI) which Australia won 3–2. Australia National Cricket Team
The Australia men's national cricket team represents Australia in men's international cricket. As the joint oldest team in Test cricket history, playing in the first ever Test match in 1877, the team also plays One-Day International (ODI) and Twenty20 International (T20I) cricket, participating in both the first ODI, against England in the 1970–71 season and the first T20I, against New Zealand in the 2004–05 season, winning both games. Steve Waugh
Stephen Rodger Waugh (born 2 June 1965) is an Australian former international cricketer and twin brother of cricketer Mark Waugh. A right-handed batsman, he was also a medium-pace bowler. Andrew Jones (New Zealand Cricketer)
Andrew Howard Jones (born 9 May 1959) is a former New Zealand cricketer. From 1987 to 1995 he played in 39 Tests and 87 ODI, for New Zealand. Gavin Larsen
Gavin Rolf Larsen (born 27 September 1962) is a former New Zealand cricketer who specialised in the art of economical bowling. He was known playfully by his teammates as "The Postman". He is currently chief selector for the national side. Domestic career Unusually for a New Zealand player, he played his entire first-class career with one team, Wellington. Mark Anthony Taylor (born 27 October 1964) is a former Australian cricketer and current Nine Network commentator. He was Test opening batsman from 1988 to 1999, as well as captain from 1994 to 1999, succeeding Allan Border. His predominant fielding position was first slip. He was widely regarded as an instrumental component in Australia's rise to Test cricket dominance, and his captaincy was regarded as adventurous and highly effective. Eden Park
Eden Park is New Zealand's largest sports stadium, with a capacity of 50,000. In cricket, a batter is not out if they come out to bat in an innings and have not been dismissed by the end of an innings. The batter is also ''not out'' while their innings is still in progress. Dipak Narshibhai Patel ( gu, દિપક પટેલ; born 25 October 1958) is a Kenyan-born former New Zealand cricketer, who played 37 Tests and 75 One Day Internationals for the New Zealand cricket team. Damien Martyn
Damien Richard Martyn (born 21 October 1971) is an Australian cricket commentator and former cricketer, who played Tests and ODIs. He played for the national team sporadically in 1992–1994 before becoming a regular ODI player from 1999 to 2000 and a regular Test player in 2000 until his retirement in late 2006. He was primarily a right-handed middle-order batsman with a 'classical' technique, known in particular for his elegant strokemaking square of the wicket on the off-side and through the covers. Steve Dunne (cricket Umpire)
Robert Stephen Dunne (born 22 April 1943) is a former New Zealand cricket umpire. He was the first umpire to stand in 100 ODIs. Steve Dunne was born in Dunedin, Otago. He is married with two sons. Before becoming an umpire, he played in one first-class match for New Zealand Under-23s in March 1966 and five first-class matches for Otago in the Plunket Shield in 1968/9, mainly as a left-arm medium-paced bowler.
