Austra is an island on the border between Trøndelag and Nordland counties in Norway. The island is shared between the municipalities of Bindal, Leka, and Nærøysund. The highest point is the Romsskåla. The village of Årset lies on the southeastern shore, along the Årsetfjorden. Ã…rsetfjorden
Årsetfjorden is a smaller fjord off of the main Lekafjorden in Trøndelag and Nordland counties in Norway. The fjord lies mostly in Nærøysund municipality (in Trøndelag), but the far northern end of the fjord lies in Bindal municipality (in Nordland). The fjord gets its name from the small village of Årset on its northwestern side. The island of Austra lies on the west side of the fjord. Leka is a municipality in Trøndelag county, Norway. It is part of the Namdalen region. The administrative centre of the municipality is the village of Leknes on the island of Leka. Other villages in Leka include Sør-Gutvika and Madsøygrenda. The island municipality includes all of the island of Leka and part of the island of Austra as well as hundreds of smaller surrounding islands and skerries. Nærøy () is a former municipality in Trøndelag county, Norway. The municipality existed from 1838 until its dissolution in 2020 when it joined Nærøysund Municipality. It was part of the Namdalen region. Norway's smallest town, Kolvereid, was the administrative centre of the municipality. Some villages in Nærøy included Abelvær, Foldereid, Gravvik, Lund, Ottersøy, Salsbruket, Steine, and Torstad. Trøndelag
Trøndelag (; sma, Trööndelage) is a county in the central part of Norway.
