Aupark Tower
Aupark Tower is a high-rise building in Bratislava located in the district of Petržalka which is a part of the shopping center Aupark. It was built by the HB Reavis, HB Reavis Group company in 2007. In 2012, Heitman European Property Partners IV purchased the building for €85.6m. Currently, the office space of the building is occupied by a number of tenants, including Telefónica O2 Slovakia, Eset, Procter & Gamble and AT&T, among others. History The construction began in 2006, the framework was completed in the beginning of 2007 and it was completely finished by the end of 2007. The building was approved by then mayor of Petržalka Vladimír Bajan, but the mayor of Bratislava Andrej Ďurkovský is also commonly blamed, as well as the Bratislava main architect Štefan Šlachta. It has a staged shape and stands at a height of 96 meters, 22 floors and there were proposals to reduce it to 15 floors in order to allegedly save the panorama of Bratislava. :''Aupark was also a former name of Sad Janka Kráľa public park.'' Aupark is a shopping centre (shopping mall and entertainment centre) in the Petržalka borough of Bratislava, Slovakia. It was the second major modern shopping centre built in Bratislava, Polus City Center being the first. Apollo Bridge
Apollo Bridge ( sk, Most Apollo, provisionally known as ''Most Košická'' during construction, after the street leading to it) in Bratislava is a road bridge over the Danube in the capital of Slovakia. It is located between the Starý most and Prístavný most Bridges, a site which allowed almost perpendicular bridging, resulting in the shortest possible span. Construction of the bridge began in 2003. The bridge was opened to the public on September 5, 2005. It is named for the "Apollo" (modern successor: Slovnaft) oil refinery which was situated on the left river bank in this area before World War II. Its curved lines, inclined arches and virtual absence of right angles make the geometric shape of the bridge very sophisticated. Danube

Andrej Ďurkovský
Andrej Ďurkovský (born 5 September 1958) is a Slovak politician and former member of the Christian Democratic Movement (KDH). After being elected the mayor of Bratislava twice – from 2002 to 2010 – he was elected into the National Council of the Slovak Republic (NR SR) in the 2010 Slovak parliamentary election. In the Slovak capital, he remains a controversial figure because of construction activities lowering the quality of life in the city, but many of his scandals resonated also on a nationwide level and culminated in Ďurkovský being forced to voluntarily leave his political party KDH in 2011.
