Augustine "Augi" Williams (born 3 August 1997) is a Sierra Leonean professional footballer who plays as a forward for USL Championship club Indy Eleven and the Sierra Leone national team. Club career Portland Timbers (2016–2018) Williams joined United Soccer League side Portland Timbers 2 on 3 August 2016. Additionally, he made his debut for the Portland Timbers in a U.S. Open Cup contest against Seattle Sounders FC on 13 June 2017, scoring Portland's lone goal in the 2–1 defeat. LA Galaxy (2019–2021) After two seasons in Portland, Williams joined LA Galaxy II on 28 January 2019. On 30 April 2021, he was promoted to the LA Galaxy senior roster. 2023 USL Championship Playoffs
The 2023 USL Championship Playoffs (branded as the 2023 USL Championship Playoffs presented by Hisense for sponsorship reasons) was the post-season championship of the 2023 USL Championship. It was the thirteenth edition of the USL Championship Playoffs. The playoffs began on October 21, and concluded with the USL Championship Final on November 12. San Antonio FC were the defending title holders and were eliminated in the Conference Semi-finals by Sacramento Republic FC. Pittsburgh Riverhounds SC and the Tampa Bay Rowdies were the first teams to clinch a playoff berth which they both achieved on September 3 and subsequently both lost in the first round. The 2021 Africa Cup of Nations (also referred to as AFCON 2021 or CAN 2021), known as the TotalEnergies 2021 Africa Cup of Nations for sponsorship reasons, was the 33rd edition of the Africa Cup of Nations, the biennial international men's football championship of Africa organised by the Confederation of African Football (CAF).
