The Augusta Jaguars (formerly Augusta State Jaguars and Georgia Regents Jaguars) are the varsity athletics, consisting of six men's and seven women's sports, teams that play for Augusta University (AU) in Augusta, Georgia in intercollegiate sports in the NCAA Division II, Division II level of the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA), primarily competing in the Peach Belt Conference (PBC) since the 1991–92 academic year; except in women's and men's golf, which those sports compete in the NCAA Division I level as an affiliate member of the Southland Conference. Augusta University (AU) is a public research university and academic medical center in Augusta, Georgia. Gary Murphy
Gary Murphy (born 15 October 1972) is an Irish professional golfer. Career Murphy was born in Kilkenny and began playing golf aged 11, after caddying for his father, Jim, who has played an instrumental role in the development of young golfers. He won the Irish Amateur Close Championship in 1992. He turned professional in 1995. He won the Asian Tour qualifying school in 1997, and played two seasons on that tour. In addition, he competed on the second tier European Challenge Tour, before returning to Europe full-time, after winning a European Tour card at the 1999 final qualifying school. Murphy was unable to secure his place on the European Tour in his rookie season and dropped back down to the Challenge Tour in 2001 and 2002. He regained his European Tour card at the end of 2002 at final qualifying school. Garret Andrew Siler (born October 25, 1986) is an American professional basketball player for Marinos de Anzoátegui of the Venezuelan Liga Profesional de Baloncesto (LPB). He formerly played center for Augusta State University (now Augusta University). When he went undrafted in the 2009 NBA Draft, he first signed with the D-League's Utah Flash and then the Chinese Basketball Association's Shanghai Sharks. During his one year with the Sharks, he averaged 14.3 points and 9.3 rebounds per game on 74 percent shooting from the field. During the summer of 2010, he played for the New Jersey Nets in the Orlando portion of the NBA Summer League and for the Miami Heat in the Las Vegas portion. The SMU Mustangs are the athletic teams that represent Southern Methodist University in University Park, Texas, United States. The 2011 NCAA Division I Men's Golf Championship was a golf tournament contested from May 31 to June 5, 2011 at the Karsten Creek Golf Club in Stillwater, Oklahoma and was hosted by Oklahoma State University. It was the 73rd NCAA Division I Men's Golf Championship. The team championship was won by the Augusta State Jaguars who won their second consecutive national championship by defeating the Georgia Bulldogs in the championship match play round 3–2. The individual national championship was won by John Peterson from Louisiana State University. Henrik Anders Norlander (born 25 March 1987) is a Swedish professional golfer, who plays on the PGA Tour. Early life Norlander was born and grew up in Danderyd, outside Stockholm, Sweden, and is son of lawyer Anders Norlander. He played both tennis and golf in his youth, but finally preferred golf. His competitive career began at Fågelbro Golf & Country Club, but he later came to represent Djursholm Golf Club.
