Audrey Sbongile Zuma (born 7 November 1961) is a South African politician, serving as a member of the National Assembly of South Africa since May 2019. She is a member of the African National Congress. Background Zuma completed grade 12 while attending school. She has been a member of the regional executive committees of the ANC and its women's league. National Assembly Of South Africa
The National Assembly is the directly elected house of the Parliament of South Africa, located in Cape Town, Western Cape. It consists of four hundred members who are elected every five years using a party-list proportional representation system where half of the members are elected proportionally from nine provincial lists and the remaining half from national lists so as to restore proportionality. The National Assembly is presided over by a Speaker, assisted by a Deputy Speaker. The African National Congress Women's League (ANCWL) is an auxiliary women's political organization of the African National Congress (ANC) of South Africa. This organization has its precedent in the Bantu Women's League, and it oscillated from being the Women's Section to the Women's League from its founding, through the exile years, and in a post-apartheid South Africa. Zulu people (; zu, amaZulu) are a Nguni ethnic group native to Southern Africa.
