Auditorio Siglo XXI
Auditorio Metropolitano (originally Auditorio Siglo XXI) is an indoor amphitheatre located in Puebla, Mexico. It was designed by famed Mexican architect Pedro Ramírez Vázquez. About The venue was commissioned in 2001, with construction beginning in 2002. The music hall opened January 2005, as a part of the Centro de Convenciones Puebla William O. Jenkins. It was known for its facade made of talavera tiles. In 2014, the venue began a controversial renovation removing the tiles with tempered glass. These changes were protested by Vázquez's son. Renovations began September 2014. During this time, a contest was held to rename the concert venue. In December 2014, it was announced the name was changing to Auditorio Metropolitano. Puebla de Zaragoza (; nah, Cuetlaxcoapan), formally Heroica Puebla de Zaragoza, formerly Puebla de los Ángeles during colonial times, or known in English simply as Puebla, is the seat of Puebla Municipality. It is the capital and largest city of the state of Puebla, and the fourth largest city in Mexico, after Mexico City, Monterrey, and Guadalajara. Emmanuel (singer)
Emmanuel (born Jesús Emmanuel Arturo Acha Martinez, April 16, 1955, in Mexico City) is a Mexican singer who debuted in the 1970s. Life He is the son of the Argentinian-born bullfighter Raúl Acha, "Rovira", who appeared numerous times in the Plaza de Acho in Lima, Peru. Emmanuel grew up in Chosica, a town about an hour from Lima, and attended Chosica's most prestigious boarding school, the Colegio Santa Rosa, of the Augustinian priests. His mother was Spanish singer Conchita Martínez. Emmanuel's songs are usually ballads, which became popular during the 1980s. Manuel Mijares () (born José Manuel Mijares Morán, 7 February 1958 in Mexico City) is an adult-contemporary pop singer who is billed simply as "Mijares". Los Tigres del Norte (English: ''The Tigers of the North'') are a norteño band from San Jose, California. Intocable ("Untouchable" in English) is an American band from Zapata, Texas that plays Regional Mexican music; specializing in Norteño and Tejano music.
