Audio Perm
Audio Perm was a hip-hop collective based in Minneapolis, Minnesota. History Audio Perm members were largely from Edison High School or South High School in Minneapolis. They started making music together after several members met at a hip-hop class taught by I Self Devine. The name "Audio Perm" originally only applied to the three producers of the group. The three founding producers, Taylor Madrigal, Cory Grindberg, and Julian Fairbanks, started writing beats together in 2009. In 2011, the group established the Audio Perm Block Party as an alternative to the Soundset Music Festival. The inaugural event was held in the parking lot of Shuga Records in Minneapolis. They promoted the event by releasing the free mixtape ''Audio Perm Block Party Compilation''. The group later participated in the 2012 Soundset Music Festival. In the summer of 2012, Audio Perm released ''We Out Chea'', a compilation of previously recorded tracks. They planned to release an official album in 2013 ...

Taylor Madrigal
Taylor Madrigal, known by the stage name DJ Tiiiiiiiiiip, is a Minneapolis, Minnesota based DJ and promoter. Tiiiiiiiiiip grew up in Minneapolis. His stage name is an alteration of his childhood nickname, Tip. In 2009, he became a founding member of rap collective Audio Perm. He produced beats for the group. He later formed half of the duo Biter Fighters with Unfuh Qwittable of Audio Perm. Tiiiiiiiiiip began DJing in 2010. He joined Thestand4rd on tour in 2014. He became the official DJ of the group and served as one of their producers. He has since collaborated with artists such as Bobby Raps, Allan Kingdom, Spooky Black, Aaron Carter, and Yung Gravy. Tiiiiiiiiiip and Bobby Raps perform together as duo Dequexatron X000. Robert John Richardson (born December 22, 1992), better known by his stage name Bobby Raps, is an American rapper, singer, songwriter, and record producer. He has been a member of Thestand4rd, Audio Perm, and Dequexatron X000. Early life Bobby Raps was born Robert John Richardson on December 22, 1992 in Saint Paul, Minnesota. While in high school, he started rapping and producing beats. He graduated from Saint Paul Central High School. Career In 2011, Bobby Raps released his debut mixtape, ''Gimme Daps''. Edison High School (Minnesota)
Thomas Edison High School is the only public high school in the Northeast community of Minneapolis, Minnesota, United States. It was named after the American inventor Thomas Alva Edison. Minneapolis South High School is a four-year comprehensive public high school located in the Corcoran neighborhood of Minneapolis, Minnesota. A member of the Minneapolis Public Schools district, it is both the oldest and largest public high school in the city of Minneapolis. The interim principal is Michael Luseni. Chaka Mkali (born 1972), better known by his stage name I Self Devine, is an American hip hop musician based in Minneapolis. He has been a member of groups such as The Dynospectrum, Micranots, and Semi.Official. In 2012, '' City Pages'' described him as "one of the most influential voices in Minnesota hip hop." Soundset Music Festival
Soundset Music Festival was a hip-hop music festival held yearly in the Minneapolis-Saint Paul area over Memorial Day, Memorial Day weekend. Since Soundset began in the Metrodome parking lot in 2008, attendance has grown from 12,000 to over 30,000 consistently since 2014. Over 280,000 fans have traveled from fifty U.S states, Canada, Mexico, Puerto Rico, Costa Rica, Africa, Europe, Asia, South America, Australia and New Zealand to experience Soundset in Minnesota. Jacob "Jake" Anderson (born April 29, 1984), better known by his stage name Prof, is an American rapper, singer, and songwriter based in Minneapolis, Minnesota.
