Aud Korbøl (born 1 October 1940) is a Norwegian sociologist and novelist. She made her literary debut in 1989 with ''Pell'ongen og je''. The ''Great Norwegian Encyclopedia'' ( no, Store Norske Leksikon, abbreviated ''SNL''), is a Norwegian-language online encyclopedia. The online encyclopedia is among the most-read Norwegian published sites, with more than two million unique visitors per month. Mads Wiel Nygaard's Endowment is an annually awarded literary prize from the publishing house Aschehoug. The prize is a recognition of superior literary work. The publisher's editorial management makes the award based on their collective judgement of merit. Applications are not accepted. The endowment is awarded in recognition of Mads Wiel Nygaard (1898–1952). Nygaard was the chief executive officer of Aschehoug. In 1940, he replaced his father William Martin Nygaard as CEO and served in that position until his own death during November 1952. Tom Lotherington
Tom Lotherington (born 15 June 1950) is a Norwegian poet, novelist, biographer and translator. He made his literary debut in 1972 with the poetry collection ''Hverdagsfantasier''. He has written the novels ''Den tredje tjeneren'' (1985) and ''Kjødets gjerninger'' (1989), and biographies on the poets Herman Wildenvey and Harald Sverdrup. Torild Wardenær
Torild Wardenær (born 30 November 1951) is a Norwegian poet and playwright. She hails from Stavanger. She made her literary debut 1994 with the poetry collection ''I pionértiden'', which earned her Aschehoug's debutant prize. She received the Halldis Moren Vesaas Prize in 1998. She was awarded the Mads Wiel Nygaards Endowment and Herman Wildenvey Poetry Award in 1997. Among her later collections are ''Paradiseffekten'' (2004) and ''PSI'' (2007).
