Aubagne (, ''Aubanha'' in Occitan according to the classic norm or ''Aubagno'' according to the Mistralian norm) is a commune in the southern French department of Bouches-du-Rhône. In 2018, it had a population of 47,208. Its inhabitants are known as ''Aubagnais'' or ''Aubagnaises''. In 2020, the commune was awarded three flowers by the National Council of Towns and Villages in Bloom in the Competition of cities and villages in Bloom. Geography Aubagne is located in the Huveaune Valley and surrounded by the mountain ranges of Garlaban with Sainte-Baume to the north and east of Marseille. Aubagne was the main city of the former Agglomeration community of Pays d'Aubagne et de l'Étoile; it has been part of the Aix-Marseille-Provence Metropolis since 2016. Aubange
Aubange (; german: Ibingen; lb, Éibeng; wa, Åbindje) is a municipality and city of Wallonia located in the province of Luxembourg, Belgium. On 1 January 2012 the municipality, which covers 45.6 km2, had 16,042 inhabitants, giving a population density of 330.9 inhabitants per km2. It is the third municipality of the Province of Luxembourg regarding the number of inhabitants but it is also among the smallest ones in terms of area. A50 Autoroute
300px, right The A50 autoroute is a French motorway connecting Marseille to Toulon. The motorway is 65 km and has a mixture of 2x2 and 2x3 lanes that run through mountainous coastal terrain along the Mediterranean. As such, it has some relatively sharp turns and steep gradients by French motorway standards, and some sections have a reduced speed limit of 110 km/h. The first section between Marseille and Aubagne was opened in 1962 and was until 1963 part of the A52 autoroute until it was renumbered after the surrounding motorways were constructed. Most of the remainder between Aubagne and Toulon was completed by 1975. The road is tolled between Roquefort-la-Bédoule and Sanary-sur-Mer and is managed by ESCOTA and was the first section to trial Télépéage or Télébadge, an automatic toll payment system using a windscreen mounted sensor, in 1992. Gémenos (; oc, Gèmas) is a commune located 20 kilometers east of Marseille in the Bouches-du-Rhône department in the Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur region in southern France. Population History A property abstract belonging to Wilhem, Count of Marseilles, dating back to February 9 934, noted for the first time the existence of a castrum named ''Geminas'' at the entry of the Saint Pons valley. Roquevaire (; oc, Ròcavaira) is a commune in the Huveaune valley between Aubagne and Auriol in the Bouches-du-Rhône department in the Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur region of Southern France. In 2017, it had a population of 9,003. Its inhabitants are called ''Roquevairois'' and ''Roquevairoises''. Geography The villages of Lascours, Pont-de-l'Étoile and Pont-de-Joux are located within the commune of Roquevaire.
