Attix5 in computing, is an online disk-to-disk backup solution. Attix5 is one of the oldest managed online backup companies, powering SMBs and enterprises. On September 11, 2015, Attix5 was acquired by UK based cloud data management company Redstor. Redstor has since renamed the technology Redstor Pro. Backup
In information technology, a backup, or data backup is a copy of computer data taken and stored elsewhere so that it may be used to restore the original after a data loss event. The verb form, referring to the process of doing so, is "back up", whereas the noun and adjective form is " backup".
