Atte Hoivala
Atte Hoivala (born 10 February 1992) is a Finnish football player currently playing for VPS. He made his Veikkausliiga debut in the opening match of the 2009 season in a 0–3 defeat against the upcoming champions HJK. On 15 January 2010 he signed a three-year contract with KuPS. He has visited PSV Eindhoven's trial camp twice. He has made in total of 26 appearances for Finland's youth national teams and was selected by Markku Kanerva to represent Finland U21 in friendly against Luxembourg on 17 November 2010. Veikkausliiga (; sv, Tipsligan) is the premier division of Finnish football, the highest tier of the Finnish football league structure, comprising the top 12 clubs of the country. Its main sponsor is the Finnish national betting agency Veikkaus, hence the league's name. Veikkausliiga was founded in 1990; before that the top division was called ''Mestaruussarja'' (championship series) since 1930 which was an amateur or semi-professional league. Volleyball
Volleyball is a team sport in which two teams of six players are separated by a net. Each team tries to score points by grounding a ball on the other team's court under organized rules. It has been a part of the official program of the Summer Olympic Games since Tokyo 1964. Beach volleyball was introduced to the programme at the Atlanta 1996. The adapted version of volleyball at the Summer Paralympic Games is sitting volleyball. The complete set of rules is extensive, but play essentially proceeds as follows: a player on one of the teams begins a 'rally' by serving the ball (tossing or releasing it and then hitting it with a hand or arm), from behind the back boundary line of the court, over the net, and into the receiving team's court. Luxembourg National Under-21 Football Team
The Luxembourg national under-21 football team is the national representative under-21 football team of Luxembourg. It is controlled by the Luxembourg Football Federation (FLF). The team is the feeder team to the Luxembourg's national team. The team competes in the biennial European Under-21 Championship. Since the establishment of the UEFA European Under-21 Football Championship in 1978 the team has always finished bottom of their qualification group. The team is for Luxembourgian players aged under 21 at the start of the calendar year in which a two-year European Under-21 Football Championship campaign begins, so some players can remain with the squad until the age of 23. As long as they are eligible, players can play for Luxembourg at any level, making it possible to play for the U21s, senior side, and again for the U21s. Markku Kanerva
Markku Tapio Kanerva (born 24 May 1964) is a Finnish football manager, former player and elementary school teacher. He is the current manager of the Finnish national team. Playing career Kanerva, who is known by the nickname ''"Rive"'', was born in Helsinki. In Finland, he played as a central defender and full back in his hometown clubs HJK (1983–1990 and 1994–1998) and the season 1994 in the then local rivals FinnPa. The seasons 1991 and 1992, he played in the Swedish team IF Elfsborg. At international level, Kanerva went on to win 59 caps, and scored one goal for the Finnish national team. His last years as a player were shadowed by injuries, but he was still an important part of the HJK defence. His playing career ended in 1998 which included the historical Champions League participation. At the Finnish top league, he played total of 291 matches and scored 29 goals.
