''Athuru Mithuru Hari Apuru'' ( si, අතුරු මිතුරු හරි අපූරු) is a 2018 Sri Lankan Sinhalese children's film directed by Lal Priyadeva and co-produced by N. Udaya Kumar and P. Arooran for Balaji Cine Films. It stars Mahendra Perera in lead role along with Don Guy and popular television comedian Suranga Satharasinghe, who made his maiden cinema appearance. Mahendra Shrikantha Perera (born 17 August 1956: si, මහේන්ද්ර පෙරේරා), is an actor in Sri Lankan cinema, stage drama and television. One of the most influential actors in Sinhala cinema, Mahendra performed from drama to comedy in many blockbuster films. Personal life He was born on 17 August 1956 in Mount-Lavinia, Sri Lanka as the youngest of the family. His father Vincent Perera, was a store manager at the Browns, and his mother Soma Weerasekera, was a matron at several government hospitals. He has two older sisters, Priyanthi Damayanthi and shivanthi Kalyani. He first studied at Highland College, Nugegoda. Later he went to Maharagama Vidyakara College and Thurstan College, Colombo. Jayakody Arachchige Don Edward Timothy Jayakody ( Sinhala:එඩ්වඩ් ජයකොඩි: born 6 April 1952), popularly as Edward Jayakody, is a Sri Lankan musician, singer and composer. Jayakody has directed the music for hundreds of Sinhala films and television serials and has also composed many songs for children's programming ("Koppara Koppara"). Manel Chinthamani Wanaguru ( si, මානෙල් වානගුරු; born 18 October 1951), is an actress in Sri Lankan cinema, theater and television. Personal life Manel Wanaguru was born on 18 October 1951. Her father Dudley Samuel Wanaguru was also an actor in Sinhala cinema. Dudley was born on 16 December 1922 and died on 29 July, 2003. He was a past pupil of St. Joseph's College, Wattala.
