Athens District High School or A.D.H.S is a high school under the Upper Canada District School Board. The school is in the small town of Athens, Ontario, Canada. Its website lists many achievements, including winning awards and media competitions, pioneering new systems of education and taking part in extracurricular courses and international student exchanges. The high school has less than 250 students as of 2009/2010. The school has a student parliament system in which it takes great pride and encourages students to be involved every year. The parliament consists of two parties, blue and gold. The school's website contains its constitution. Clarke Central High School
Clarke Central High School (CCHS) is located in Athens, Georgia, United States. In 1970, Clarke County schools were desegregated, and the high school for black children, Burney-Harris High School (formerly Athens High and Industrial School), and the high school for white children, Athens High, merged to establish Clarke Central. Classes in the newly formed school began in 1971. CCHS is in the Clarke County School District and is one of two traditional high schools in the county; the other is Cedar Shoals High School. The two schools have a rivalry known as the Classic City Championship. The Clarke County School District is also home to a third, non-traditional high school, Classic City High. Located in the heart of the city, CCHS's original building opened in 1952. Since then, the school has seen several renovations and additions. Athens Drive Magnet High School, formerly known as Athens Drive High School, is a secondary Wake County public high school in southwestern Raleigh, North Carolina that serves grades 9–12. As of 2020–2021, the school has 2,075 enrolled students and approximately 121 hired educators. It is also part of the Wake County Public School System. History Athens Drive High School (ADHS) was opened on September 5, 1978. ADHS was then dedicated on April 11, 1979. The first graduating class was in 1979. Athens Drive High School was the first high school in Wake County built for school and community use. It was the first high school built after the merger of Wake County Schools and Raleigh City Schools. It was designed by architect F. Carter Williams.
