Atanas Atanasov (politician)
Atanas Atanasov is a Bulgarian lawyer and politician. He was a former member of the Union of Democratic Forces (Bulgaria), UDF (2002-2004), Democrats for a Strong Bulgaria, DSB (since 2004), Secretary of the Ministry of Interior (Bulgaria), Minister of Interior (1997-1998), and a director of State Agency for National Security, SANS (1999). He is an Member of parliament, MP. Biography Atanasov was born on 17 May 1959 at Batin, Bulgaria, Batin, Ruse, Bulgaria, Ruse, Bulgaria. He graduated from Sofia University. The National Assembly ( bg, Народно събрание, Narodno sabranie) is the unicameral parliament and legislative body of the Republic of Bulgaria. The National Assembly was established in 1879 with the Tarnovo Constitution. The Reformist Bloc ( bg, Реформаторски блок, Reformatorski blok) was a centre-right electoral alliance in Bulgaria. History The coalition agreement to form the alliance was signed on 20 December 2013. The five parties that signed the agreement were: Democrats for a Strong Bulgaria, Bulgaria for Citizens Movement, Union of Democratic Forces, People's Party Freedom and Dignity, and the Bulgarian Agrarian National Union. Simeon Dyankov
Simeon Dyankov ( bg, Симеон Дянков, also Djankov; born July 13, 1970) is a Bulgarian economist. From 2009 to 2013, he was the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Finance of Bulgaria in the government of Boyko Borisov. Prior to his cabinet appointment, Dyankov was a chief economist of the finance and private sector vice-presidency of the World Bank. He was an associate editor of the '' Journal of Comparative Economics'' from 2004 to 2009. Dyankov was a chairman of the board of the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development.
