Asunción is a district of the Chachapoyas Province, Peru. The District of Asunción is located in the northern part of the province in Amazonas Region; the capital is the town of Goncha. The district covers an area of 25.71 km²; the elevation of the district capital is 2,820 above sea level. The climate is moderate to dry moderate cold. The districts of Peru () are the third-level country subdivisions of Peru. They are subdivisions of the provinces of Peru, provinces, which in turn are subdivisions of the larger regions of Peru, regions or departments. There are 1,838 districts in total. Overview A 1982 law requires a minimum of residents in an area for a new district to be legally established: 3,500 if it is located in the rainforest, 4,000 in the Andes highlands and 10,000 in the Chala, coastal area. In the dry Andean area, many districts have less than 3,500 inhabitants due to low population density in the area. In some cases, their populations have decreased in comparison to the days when they were founded. Districts that are located at very high altitudes tend to be scarcely populated. Bongará Province
Bongará is a province of the Amazonas Region, Peru. It borders by the north with Condorcanqui Province, by the East with the San Martín Region and Loreto Region, by the south with Chachapoyas Province and by the west with the provinces of Luya and Utcubamba. It presents a varied geographical configuration. Goncha
Goncha is one of the woredas in the Amhara Region of Ethiopia. Part of the Misraq Gojjam Zone, Goncha is bordered on the south, west and north by the Mirab Gojjam Zone, on the east by Hulet Ej Enese, and on the southeast by Bibugn. Goncha was part of Kuarit woreda. It belonged to the Mirab Gojjam Zone but according to the map of UN-OCHA it is part of Misraq Gojjam Zone now. # The 2005 Peru Census was a detailed enumeration of the Peruvian population. It was conducted by the Instituto Nacional de Estadística e Informática from July 18 through August 20, 2005. Its full name in Spanish is ''X Censo de Población y V de Vivienda'' ("Tenth Population and Fifth Household Census"). The previous census performed in Peru was the 1993 Census. The following census was the 2007 Census. The results of the census were released to the public on November 30, 2005 after all the census materials from the country's 25 regions were transported to Arequipa and processed at the INEI information processing center in that city. Chachapoyas Province
Chachapoyas is a province of the Amazonas Region, Peru. The province of Chachapoyas was a part of the department of Trujillo (according to the supreme decree of February 12, 1821) being its capital the city of Chachapoyas. After the department of Amazonas was created, by law of November 21, 1832, it became a province of the Amazonas region, and the city of Chachapoyas remained a regional capital. Its principal quarters are: *To the north: Luya Urco and Santo Domingo *To the south: Yanco and La Laguna. A big part of the province is constituted by soils of puna, located between in the oriental districts of Chiliquín, Quinjalca and Granada.
