Association Of Scouts Of Azerbaijan
The Association of Scouts of Azerbaijan ( az, Azərbaycan Skautlar Assosiasiyası), (ASA) the national Scouting organization of Azerbaijan, was founded in 1997, and became the 150th member of the World Organization of the Scout Movement on 20 August 2000. In 2017 it was admitted as a full member in the World Association of Girl Guides and Girl Scouts. The coeducational association has 1,748 members as of 2012, about 35% are girls. History ASA was founded on October 11, 1997, when Namik Jafarov, former president of the association, gathered the first members of the new movement and held the first Scout camp in Nabran. On August 20, 2000 ASA was invited to join WOSM and the Eurasia Scout Region. Branch offices exist in Shaki Rayon, Barda Rayon, Nakhchivan, Ismailli Rayon, Khachmaz Rayon, Zaqatala Rayon, Aghjabadi Rayon, Ganja, and Yevlakh Rayon. Azerbaijani Language
Azerbaijani () or Azeri (), also referred to as Azeri Turkic or Azeri Turkish, is a Turkic language from the Oghuz sub-branch spoken primarily by the Azerbaijani people, who live mainly in the Republic of Azerbaijan where the North Azerbaijani variety is spoken, and in the Azerbaijan region of Iran, where the South Azerbaijani variety is spoken. Although there is a very high degree of mutual intelligibility between both forms of Azerbaijani, there are significant differences in phonology, lexicon, morphology, syntax, and sources of loanwords. Yevlakh District ( az, Yevlax rayonu) is one of the 66 districts of Azerbaijan. It is located in the centre of the country and belongs to the Central Aran Economic Region. Ophrys Caucasica
''Ophrys caucasica'' (, , ) is a flowering plant endemic to the Caucasus. It has been recorded in numerous areas throughout Armenia, Azerbaijan, Georgia and Russia. The overall distribution of the species, according to Delforge, ranges from coastal massifs of north-east Anatolia, from Trabzon in the west, probably to the Caspian Sea. Azerbaijani state media portraits it as the "official flower" of the Karabakh region. Etymology In Armenian, its name (Sardakir Mexvakir) refers to its primary pollinators, spiders (or 'Sard') and bees (or 'Mexu') and their food (or 'kir'). Exhibition In 2014 an exhibition titled "Khari bulbul, a flower of peace and love" was organized by the Federal National Cultural Autonomy of Azerbaijanis in Russia. Gasimushaghi carpets () are Azerbaijani pile carpets of the Karabakh school of the Jabrayil group.Лятиф Керимов. Азербайджанский ковер. Том III. Баку: "Гянджлик", 1983, стр. 221. Carpets The name of this carpet is related to the Şamkənd, Ərikli, Kürdhacı, Chorman and Shalva villages of the Lachin Rayon of Azerbaijan. Gasimushaghi carpets are broadly spread in carpet weaving points of the “Carpet weaving schools of Karabakh”. Earlier it was woven in a village called Gasimushaghi obasi and its production also developed in this village and especially in Şamkənd, Ərikli, Kürdhacı, Chorman and Shalva villages.
