Asserbohus
Asserbohus was a former hotel at Asserbo in Halsnæs Municipality, Denmark. History Asserbohus was built by antique dealer Henry Skaanström in 1933 as a luxury hotel, not far from the northern beach of Asserbo. The main building is a total of 2306 m². For the most part, Asserbohus is built from recycled materials, including columns from a large sailing ship. From 1957 to 1978, Asserbohus was a boarding school. From 1978 Asserbohus has been owned by Tvind, which ran another school between 1978 and 2004. In January 2012 a fire broke out. The buildings were later demolished to make way for the construction of vacation homes. In 2014, Asserbohus sold for Danish krone, DKK 5.25 million despite it was originally set for sale for DKK 25 million. Halsnæs Municipality
Halsnæs Kommune is a municipality (Danish, '' kommune'') in Region Hovedstaden ("Capital Region"). The municipality covers a total area (land and water) of 122.15 km² (2013), according to Municipal Key Figures (De Kommunale Nøgletal (www.noegletal.dk)), and has a total population of 31,420 (1 January 2021). The municipality also includes the island Hesselø. Up to 20 km2 of the total area is water, as part of the largest lake in Denmark, Arresø, lies within the municipality. Its name comes from ''Halsnæs'', the peninsula that forms the western part of the municipality. The municipality was created on 1 January 2007 as a merger of the former municipalities of Frederiksværk and Hundested. Boarding School

Tvind is the informal name of a confederation of private schools, humanitarian organizations, and businesses, founded as an alternative education school in Denmark circa 1970.
