Aslı Kalaç
Aslı Kalaç (born December 13, 1995) is a Turkish volleyball player. She is tall at and plays in the middle blocker position. She plays for Fenerbahçe. Kalaç debuted in the girls' youth national team in 2011, and is currently a member of the Turkey women's junior national volleyball team. She wears number 9. She was born on December 13, 1995, in Istanbul. Her father canalized her in 2006 summer to volleyball after she was engaged in swimming sport for one year. In the beginning, she was coached by Münip Özdurak at Yeşilyurt Women's Volleyball Team. After playing for two seasons at the TVF Sport High School, she signed in July 2011 for Yeşilyurt Women's Volleyball, which competes in the Turkish Women's Volleyball League. She transferred to Galatasaray. She played seven seasons before went to THY. She finally to Fenerbahçe. Volleyball At The 2015 European Games
The volleyball tournaments at the 2015 European Games in Baku were played between 13 and 28 June. 12 teams participated in the two indoor tournaments, while 32 pairs took part in each of the beach volleyball events. Qualification Indoor volleyball Each event will accept twelve entered teams. Qualification for indoor volleyball for the 2015 European Games is based on European rankings. Those rankings shall be taken on 1 January 2015, and based on the CEV Entry Ranking/Euro league participations. As hosts, Azerbaijan shall be entitled to entry in both indoor events, and nations will be restricted to single team of 14 players in each event. The 2022–23 Turkish Women's Volleyball League is the 40th volleyball tournament year and the top-level women's volleyball tournament of the newly branded and reorganized Turkish Women's Volleyball League. The winner, runner-up and third of Turkish Women's Volleyball League will play in CEV Champions League league round and 4th place will play in CEV Cup main phase. Turkish Women's Volleyball League
The Turkish Women's Volleyball League ( tr, Türkiye Kadınlar Voleybol 1. Ligi) officially called the Sultans League (Turkish: Sultanlar Ligi), is the highest professional women's volleyball league in Turkey. It is run by the Turkish Volleyball Federation and began with the 1984–85 season. 14 clubs are currently participating in the league. It is often regarded as the best professional women's volleyball league in the world. Its clubs have obtained significant successes in European and other international competitions. Eczacıbaşı are the most successful club, having won 16 championships so far. Girls Youth Volleyball World Championship
The FIVB Volleyball Girls' U19 World Championship is the world championship of volleyball for female players under the age of 19 organized by ''Fédération Internationale de Volleyball'' ( FIVB). The first edition was staged in 1989 in Curitiba, Brazil and tournaments have been played every two years since then. The most recent tournament was hosted by Mexico in Durango City and won by Russia. In March 2022, FIVB decides to change the age category of the tournament by moving it from U18 to U19 in order to equate it with the Boys' U19 World Championship. China is the most successful nation in the tournament's history, with four titles and one runner-up. Brazil is the second most successful with three titles and four runners-up. 2017 FIVB Volleyball Women's U23 World Championship
The 2017 FIVB Volleyball Women's U23 World Championship was the third and final edition of the international volleyball tournament and the world championship for women's national teams under the age of 23, organized by the sport's world governing body, FIVB. The tournament was hosted by Slovenia in the city of Ljubljana from 10 September to 17 September 2017. 12 teams from the 5 confederations competed in the tournament. Turkey defeated the home team in straight sets in the final to claim their first title in the competition. Bulgaria won the bronze medal outclassing Dominican Republic 4–2. Hande Baladın from Turkey was elected the Most valuable player, MVP. After this tournament, FIVB declared that "As per decision of May 2019 FIVB Board of Administration, the U23 WCH has been abolished."
