Asif Mammadov ( az, Asif Hüseyn oğlu Məmmədov; born on 5 August 1986) is an Azerbaijani professional association football, footballer who plays for Gabala FK in the Azerbaijan Premier League. Career Club On 10 June 2015, Mammadov signed for Gabala FK. Aghdam
Aghdam ( az, Ağdam) is a ghost town and the nominal capital of the Aghdam District of Azerbaijan. Founded in the 18th century, it was granted city status in 1828 and grew considerably during the Soviet period. Aghdam lies from Stepanakert at the eastern foot of the Karabakh Range, on the outskirts of the Karabakh plain. Before the First Nagorno-Karabakh War, butter, wine and brandy, machine, and silk factories, an airport and two railway stations functioned there. By 1989, Aghdam had 28,031 inhabitants. As Azerbaijani forces withdrew from Karabakh following political turmoil in the country during the war, Armenian forces captured Aghdam in July 1993. The heavy fighting forced the city's population to flee eastwards. Upon the seizure, Armenian forces sacked the town. Until 2020, it was almost entirely ruined and uninhabited. 2007–08 Azerbaijan Premier League
The 2007–08 Azerbaijan Premier League is the 16th season of Azerbaijan Premier League, the Azerbaijani professional league for association football clubs, since its establishment in 1992. Khazar Lankaran were the defending champions, having won the previous season. Teams Shahdag Qusar were relegated after finishing the previous season in 13th. FK Gäncä, who were excluded from the league the previous season, also wouldn't take part in the 2007-08 season. On 13 August 2007 UEFA declared MKT Araz defunct and withdrew their participation from the league. They were replaced by ABN Bärdä, Masallı and Standard Baku from the Azerbaijan First Division. 2019–20 Gabala FC Season
The 2019–20 season was Gabala FK's 15th season, and their 14th in the Azerbaijan Premier League, the top-flight of Azerbaijani football. Gabala will also take part in the Azerbaijan Cup and the Europa League. Gabala finished the season in 8th position due to the premature end of the season and were spared relegation, whilst they were due to play Zira in the Semifinal of the Azerbaijan Cup before its cancellation. In the Europa League Gabala were knocked out by Dinamo Tbilisi in the Second Qualifying Round. The 2018–19 season was Gabala's 14th season in the Azerbaijan Premier League, the top-flight of Azerbaijani football. The club participated in the Premier League, finishing fourth. They also entered the Azerbaijan Cup, defeating Sumgayit 1-0 to win their first title. The 2015–16 season was Gabala FK's 11th season, and their 10th in the Azerbaijan Premier League, the top-flight of Azerbaijani football. Domestically, Gabala finished 3rd in the Premier League for the third season in a row and reached the semifinals of the Azerbaijan Cup where they were defeated by Neftchi Baku. In Europe Gabala reached the group stages of the UEFA Europa League where they faced PAOK, Krasnodar and Borussia Dortmund before finishing bottom of the group. The Inter Baku 2010–11 season was Inter Baku's tenth Azerbaijan Premier League season, and their second season under manager Kakhaber Tskhadadze. Inter Baku were reigning champions of the Azerbaijan Premier League, but failed to defend their title finishing 5th and missing out on European qualification.
