Ashok Kushwaha
Ashok Kumar better known as Ashok Kushwaha is a former Member of the Bihar Legislative Assembly from the Sasaram Assembly constituency. He was a member of Rashtriya Janata Dal, and was elected in the 2000 Bihar assembly elections as well as the 2015 Bihar assembly elections. Kumar shifted his allegiance to Janata Dal (United) (JDU) prior to 2020 Bihar Legislative Assembly election and was made a candidate of JDU from Sasaram constituency against Rajesh Kumar Gupta of Rashtriya Janata Dal. However, he was defeated in the 2020 elections. Sasaram

Jawahar Prasad
Jawahar Prasad is an Indian politician and a former Member of Bihar Legislative Assembly from Sasaram Assembly constituency. Prasad is a five term Member of Legislative Assembly from Sasaram; he was elected as a candidate of Bharatiya Janata Party. Prasad has also been associated with Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh in early part of his life. He became an active member of Sangh in 1989, and in 1990 election to Bihar Assembly, he was elected for the first time. Political career In 1990 Bihar Assembly elections, Prasad defeated Bipin Bihari Sinha. He secured 42,956 votes in his favour compared to 24,261 votes in favour of Sinha. The Bihar Legislative Assembly election was held in three phases through October–November to elect members to the Seventeenth Bihar Legislative Assembly. The Legislative Assembly election was held over five-phases in Bihar through October–November 2015 before the end of the tenure of the prior Legislative Assembly of Bihar on 29 November 2015.
