Ashley Freiberg
Ashley Lynn Freiberg (born November 22, 1991) is an American racing driver who has competed in Open-wheel car, open-wheel, Sports car racing, sports car and Endurance racing (motorsport), endurance racing. She became the first woman to win a Skip Barber Racing School, Skip Barber Racing championship title in 2010, and the first female to claim outright race victories in the IMSA GT3 Cup Challenge and the Michelin Pilot Challenge, Continental Tire SportsCar Challenge in 2013 and 2014, respectively. After working as a timing and scoring official at her local kart track, Freiberg began Kart racing, karting at 13, achieving early success by winning five championships. She later progressed to car racing in Skip Barber and Formula Mazda, winning 25 races and two series titles in the former in 2010. Homer Glen, Illinois
Homer Glen is a village, located southwest of downtown Chicago, in Homer Township, Will County, Illinois. It is a southwest suburb of Chicago. Per the 2020 census, the population was 24,543. The village was incorporated on April 17, 2001. The area that is now Homer Glen was formerly known as " Goodings Grove". Prior to 1988, the unincorporated Homer Township-Goodings Grove area consisted of sparsely populated wetlands, and was home to only a few small housing developments. Despite it's recent growth, Homer Glen continues to be one of the most rural areas of Will County in the Des Plaines Valley. The 2016 IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship was the third season of the United SportsCar Championship and first to be under the name as the WeatherTech SportsCar Championship organized by the International Motor Sports Association (IMSA). Lockport Township High School (LTHS) is a public high school in Lockport, Illinois, United States. In addition to the city of Lockport and Lockport Township, Lockport Township High School also serves the communities of Homer Glen, most of Crest Hill, a section of unincorporated Orland Park and Homer Township.
