Ashland High School (Massachusetts)
Ashland High School is a public high school in Ashland, Massachusetts. History Established in the nineteenth century, Ashland High School is home of the Clockers. Ashland High athletic teams have competed within the Tri-Valley League since the early 1970s, when they left the Dual County League. A new school building opened in 2005. In 2009, the school had probable cases of the swine flu pandemic. On September 21, 2020, the school hosted a first-round game of the 2020 U.S. Open Cup qualification soccer tournament. Dick Muri
Richard Walter Muri (born November 30, 1953) is an American politician. He is the appointed Mayor of the Town of Steilacoom after longtime Mayor Ron Lucas stepped down for health reasons in March 2021, before passing away just weeks later. He is a Republican former member of the Washington House of Representatives, representing the 28th legislative district. The production design gives the viewers a sense of the time period, the plot location, and character actions and feelings. Ashland is a town in Middlesex County, Massachusetts, United States. It is part of the MetroWest region. The population was 18,832 at the 2020 United States Census. History The area now known as Ashland was settled in the early 18th century and inhabited prior to that by the Megunko Native Americans, to which Megunko Hill owes its name. Previously known as "Unionville", Ashland was incorporated in 1846, bearing the name of statesman Henry Clay's Kentucky estate. It is considerably younger than many of the surrounding towns, as Ashland's territory was taken in near-equal parts from the previously established towns of Hopkinton, Holliston (previously of colonial era Sherborn's territory), and Framingham. The United States experienced the beginnings of a pandemic of a novel strain of the influenza A/H1N1 virus, commonly referred to as "swine flu", in the spring of 2009. The earliest reported cases in the US began appearing in late March 2009 in California, then spreading to infect people in Texas, New York, and other states by mid-April.
