Description From its headwaters in a small wetland and agricultural area, the Ashippun River flows southwest through Druid Lake to the Rock River. There are 12 intermittent and 5 perennial tributaries to the Ashippun River. It has a low gradient of per mile. Etheostoma Microperca
The least darter (''Etheostoma microperca''), is a species of freshwater ray-finned fish, a darter from the subfamily Etheostomatinae, part of the family Percidae, which also contains the perches, ruffes and pikeperches.
