Arvi Lind
Arvi Kullervo Lind (born December 21, 1940) is a retired Finnish television news presenter. He worked as the news anchor on Yleisradio TV1 from 1965 to 2003. Along with Kari Toivonen, he was one of the longest-serving employees of Yleisradio news. Lind was born in Lauritsala. His career as a reporter in Yleisradio TV news began on October 15, 1965. His last news broadcast was on Wednesday, October 15, 2003, at 20:30 EEST, and he retired from his work at the beginning of year 2004. The farewell broadcast was seen by over 1.6 million viewers. Since then, he has lectured about his work in universities, and in 2005, the newspaper ''Keskisuomalainen'' appointed him as their reader ombudsman. Arvi Siig
Arvi Siig (8 November 1938 – 23 November 1999) was an Estonians, Estonian poet, translator and journalist. He was a member of the Communist Party of the Soviet Union, CPSU and a communist, but still critical of many aspects of the political aspects of his day. His poetry inspired later Punk subculture, punk poets and many of his texts are used as lyrics by the Estonian alternative rock band Vennaskond. He was among the first to include modern urban themes in Estonian poetry, also giving a voice to Prostitution, prostitutes, including Soviet prostitutes. Arvi Martin Savolainen (born 24 October 1998) is a Finnish Greco-Roman wrestler. He won the silver medal in the 97 kg event at the 2022 European Wrestling Championships held in Budapest, Hungary. Career Savolainen won a bronze medal at the 2015 Cadet Wrestling World Championships held in Sarajevo, Bosnia and Herzegovina. Sulo Arvi Pohjanpää (10 July 1887 – 21 December 1959) was a Finnish Olympic gymnast, judge and writer. Gymnastics He won the Finnish national championship in team gymnastics as a member of Ylioppilasvoimistelijat in 1909. Law He took his matriculation exam in Tampere real lycaeum in 1905. He graduated as a Master of Laws from the University of Helsinki in 1910. He received the title varatuomari in 1913. Beginning in 1911, he worked various duties in the legal system. Eventually, he was a judge advocate general in the superior court martial in 1931–1952, and then a Judge of the Court of Appeal in the Helsinki Court of Appeal in 1952–1954. Sir Arvi Hillar Parbo (10 February 1926 – 1 May 2019) was a business executive who was concurrently chairman of three of Australia's largest companies, Alcoa World Alumina & Chemicals, Munich Re, and Zurich Australian Insurance. Early life Parbo was born in Tallinn, Estonia and fled from his homeland ahead of the Soviet occupation in 1944, ending up in a refugee camp (DP camp) in Germany. Arvi Mägi (born 25 February 1949 in Tartu) is an Estonian actor and theatre director. In 1971 he graduated from Tallinn Pedagogical Institute with a degree in stage arts. From 1971 until 1989 and from 1993 until 1994, he was an actor at the Rakvere Theatre; from 1989 until 1993, he was also its artistic leader ().
