Arvesiniadu
Arvesiniadu or Arvisionadu is a rare native white Italian wine grape variety that is grown on the island of Sardinia. It is usually used in blends but can also be made into sweet (wine), sweet or dry varietal style wines under the ''Indicazione geografica tipica'' (IGT) designation of ''Isola dei Nuraghi''.J. Passito
Straw wine, or raisin wine, is a wine made from grapes that have been dried to concentrate their juice. The result is similar to that of the ice wine process, but is a much older process and suitable for warm climates. The technique dates back to pre-Classical times with wines becoming fashionable in Roman times and in late Medieval/Renaissance Europe when wines such as Malmsey ('Malvasia' originally from Greece) and Candia (from Crete) were highly sought after. Traditionally, most production of these wines has been in Greece, the islands of Sicily, Cyprus, Northern Italy and the French Alps. However, producers in other areas now use the method as well. Vermentino
Vermentino is a light-skinned wine grape variety, primarily found in Italian wine. It is widely planted in both Sardinia and Liguria, to some extent in Corsica, in Piedmont under the name Favorita, and in increasing amounts in Languedoc-Roussillon. The leaves are dark green and pentagonal. The grapes are amber-yellow and hang in pyramidal bunches. The vines are often grown on slopes facing the sea where they can benefit from the additional reflected light. The Vitis International Variety Catalogue now gives Italy as its origin. The most famous wine made from Vermentino is probably the DOCG Vermentino di Gallura (and Vermentino di Gallura Superiore) which is produced in the province of Olbia-Tempio, in the north of Sardinia. The grape is said to have been cultivated in this part of Gallura, often under the name ''Arratelau'', since the fourteenth century.

Nuragus
Nuragus (Latin: Valentia) is a small town, in administrative terms a ''comune'' (municipality), in the Province of South Sardinia in the Italian autonomous region of Sardinia, located about north of the local capital Cagliari. Nuragus borders the following municipalities: Genoni, Gesturi, Isili, Laconi, Nurallao. Archaeology Copper trade originating in the eastern Mediterranean in the Bronze Age kingdom of Alashiya (probably Cyprus) reached as far west as Sardinia, where five typical oxhide ingots were first turned up by a plough in 1857, at the foot of a demolished ''nuraghe'' called Serra Ilixi by locals. The find was published by Luigi Pigorini in 1904. Benetutti ( sc, Benetuti) is a ''comune'' (municipality) in the Province of Sassari in the Italian region Sardinia, located about north of Cagliari and about southeast of Sassari. Several prehistorical archaeological remains have been discovered in its countryside. These include Giants' tombs (Bronze Age mass graves), Domus de Janas (hypogaean Neolithic graves) and several nuraghi. An example of Roman ruins is the bath-pool on Saint Saturnino's hot springs. The Goceano ( sc, Costèra) is a historical and geographical region of center-north of Sardinia island, Italy.
