Arul (film)
''Arul'' () is a 2004 Indian Tamil-language action drama film written and directed by Hari starring Vikram, Jyothika, Pasupathy, Kollam Thulasi, and Vadivelu, among others. The music is composed by Harris Jayaraj. The story tells how a man is rejected by his family but then finds his way back. Premise Arul, who works in a mill is the third son of four brothers in a family of goldsmiths in Coimbatore. Once, Arul's brother steals a chain due to financial circumstances. Arul took the blame and was labelled as a thief, where he was seen as a black sheep by his father Bala Aasari. Thus, he vows never to make a gold ornament ever again. Kanmani, who moves into his neighbourhood eventually falls for Arul. However, Arul does not reciprocate. Hari (director)
Hari Gopalakrishnan is an Indian film director best known for his action film, action and masala film, masala films in Tamil cinema. He made his directorial debut with ''Thamizh'' (2002). He later directed films such as ''Saamy'' (2003), ''Kovil (film), Kovil'' (2004), ''Ayya (2005 Tamil film), Ayya'' (2005), ''Thaamirabharani'' (2007), ''Vel (film), Vel'' (2007) and the ''Singam (film series), Singam film series'' (2010-2017). Sujatha (actress)
Sujatha (10 December 1952 – 6 April 2011) was an Indian actress who performed and staggered in a number of unique and variety of characters in Tamil, Malayalam and Telugu films- in addition to few in Kannada and Hindi languages as well. The actress was best known for restraint and subtlety in portrayal of varied emotions. After starring in numerous Malayalam films in her mother-tongue, Sujatha later got introduced to the Tamil film industry by veteran director K. Balachander and producer P.R. Govindarajan as a protagonist in her first Tamil film, ''Aval Oru Thodar Kathai'' (1974). It was a critically acclaimed film and launched the actress's first commecrical breakthrough in her acting career. Whereas, her first Telugu picture happened to be a Telugu/Tamil bilingual titled as ''Guppedu Manasu'' (1979) in Telugu and was simultaneously shot as Nool Veli in Tamil of the same year. Thambi Ramaiah is an Indian actor, director and comedian who works in the Tamil film industry. He has also worked occasionally as a lyricist. Vaiyapuri
Vaiyapuri (born 23 October 1968 as Ramakrishnan) is an Indian actor who has worked in Tamil-language films. He rose to fame by appearing in supporting roles in the late 1990s and early 2000s, often portraying supporting comedic characters. Ponnambalam (born 11 November 1963) is an Indian actor and stuntman who has predominantly appeared in Tamil language films.
