Aruko
is a Japanese manga artist. After debuting in 1999, she launched her first series, ''Yasuko to Kenji'', in 2005. Following its completion, she began illustrating Kazune Kawahara's ''My Love Story!!'' in 2011, which performed well and received multiple adaptations. Following ''My Love Story!!''s completion, Aruko began illustrating ''My Love Mix-Up!'' in 2019. Biography Aruko was born in Ishikawa Prefecture on July 26. Aruko debuted as a manga artist in 1999 with the One-shot (comics), one-shot ''Ame no Chi Hare'', published in ''Bessatsu Margaret''. After writing a couple more one shots, she launched ''Yasuko to Kenji'' in 2005. It would later receive a TV drama adaptation. Following ''Yasuko to Kenji''s completion, Aruko penned a few more one-shots. She would later be approached by editors of ''Bessatsu Margaret'' to illustrate a new series written by Kazune Kawahara. My Love Mix-Up!
is a Japanese manga series written by Wataru Hinekure and illustrated by Aruko. It was serialized in ''Bessatsu Margaret'' from June 2019 to June 2022. A spin-off, titled ''Kieta Hatsukoi: Shōgekijō'', began serialization in July 2021. A live action television drama adaptation premiered in October 2021. In 2022, ''My Love Mix-Up!'' won the 67th Shogakukan Manga Award in the '' shōjo'' category. My Love Story!!
, is a Japanese romantic comedy manga series written by Kazune Kawahara and illustrated by Aruko. The manga was serialized in Shueisha's ''Bessatsu Margaret'' magazine from October 2011 to July 2016. Viz Media published the series in English. The story follows dense but kind-hearted giant Takeo Gōda, who falls head-over-heels for Yamato Rinko after he defends her from a groper on the train. An anime television adaptation by Madhouse aired from April to September 2015 and a live-action film adaptation of the same name was released in October 2015. The is one of Japan's major manga awards, and is sponsored by Shogakukan, Shogakukan Publishing. It has been awarded annually for serialized manga and features candidates from a number of publishers. It is the oldest manga award in Japan, being given since 1955. Yasuko To Kenji
is a Japanese manga series written and illustrated by Aruko. ''Yasuko to Kenji'' was Serial (literature), serialized in the shōjo manga, ''shōjo'' manga magazine ''Bessatsu Margaret'' from April 2005 to November 2006. In 2008, the series was adapted into a comedy drama which aired in Japan on Nippon Television. Plot The show focuses on a man named Kenji and his younger sister Yasuko, whose parents died in an accident 10 years earlier. Kenji was once the leader of a gang, but in order to support him and his sister, he began making a living as a shōjo manga artist. His character normally wears glasses and appears to be a gentle guy, but he throws off his glasses and reverts to his violent side whenever he tries to protect Yasuko from danger. is an annual award for serialized manga published in the previous year, the event is sponsored by the publisher Kodansha. It is currently awarded in three categories: '' shōnen'', '' shōjo'', and general. The awards began in 1977, initially with categories for ''shōnen'' and ''shōjo''.
