Artur Kotenko
Artur Kotenko (born 20 August 1981) is an Estonian professional footballer who plays as a goalkeeper for FCI Levadia. Club career Career in Estonia On 24 October 2004, Kotenko scored Levadia's second goal against Tulevik in the penultimate round of 2004 Meistriliiga. The team won the match 4–1 and secured the title, ultimately making it the league winning goal. Having been frozen out of the Levadia side in 2007, after refusing to sign a contract extension with the club (a similar fate was suffered by teammates Konstantin Vassiljev and Ats Purje earlier that season), Kotenko joined the Norwegian First Division side Sandnes Ulf, but was free to leave the club after less than a year because of a relegation release clause in his contract. JK Narva Trans, commonly known as Narva Trans or just Trans, are a professional Estonian association football club based in Narva that compete in the Meistriliiga, the top flight of Estonian football. Colin Calderwood
Colin Calderwood (born 20 January 1965) is a Scottish professional football manager and former player. He is the assistant manager at Northampton Town. As a player, he was a centre-back who notably played in the Premier League for Tottenham Hotspur and Aston Villa and in the Football League for Mansfield Town, Swindon Town, Nottingham Forest and Notts County. He was capped 36 times by Scotland national football team and was part of their Euro 96 and World Cup 98 squads. Following retirement, he became manager of Northampton Town in 2003, guiding the club to promotion in 2006. He then became manager of Nottingham Forest helping the club win promotion in 2008. The English Football League Championship (often referred to as the Championship for short or the Sky Bet Championship for sponsorship purposes) is the highest division of the English Football League (EFL) and second-highest overall in the English football league system, after the Premier League. Norwegian First Division
The Norwegian First Division, also called 1. divisjon and OBOS-ligaen (named sponsor is property developer OBOS), is the second-highest level of the Norwegian football league system. Each year, the top finishing teams in the 1. divisjon are promoted to the Eliteserien, and the lowest finishing teams are relegated to 2. divisjon. 1. divisjon was previously known as 2. divisjon (1963–1990) and replaced regional league Landsdelsserien (1951–1962) after the latter was dissolved after the 1961–62 season. Ats Purje (born 3 August 1985) is an Estonian professional footballer who plays as a forward for Tallinna Kalev. Club career Early career Purje began playing football at Tallinna Jalgpallikool, where he was coached by Aivar Tiidus. He made his senior league debut in the IV liiga with SC Real in 2001. Levadia In 2003, Purje joined Meistriliiga club Levadia. He made his debut in the Meistriliiga on 15 March 2003, playing for Levadia's Tallinn-based team against the Maardu-based Levadia team in a 0–1 away loss. Konstantin Vassiljev (born 16 August 1984) is an Estonian professional footballer who plays as an attacking midfielder for Meistriliiga club Flora and captains the Estonia national team. Vassiljev has been named Estonian Footballer of the Year three times, and has won the Estonian Silverball award a record six times. 2004 Meistriliiga was the 14th season of the Meistriliiga, Estonia's premier football league. Levadia won their third title. Season overview Levadia Tallinn won their third title with a six-point advantage over the runners-up TVMK Tallinn. Tammeka Tartu and Tervis Pärnu won promotion to the Meistriliiga as the Esiliiga champions and third placed team respectively, the runners-up Levadia Tallinn II were ineligible for promotion. Expansion of the league to ten teams from eight, for the upcoming season, also ensured that even the last placed Lootus Alutaguse had a chance to stay in the top flight, but were defeated by Esiliiga's fourth team Dünamo Tallinn, winning the away leg 2-1, but then losing at home 0-4 a week later.
