Arthur Papas (2)
Arthur Papastamatis (born 12 February 1980) is an Australian professional soccer manager who holds the role of Caretaker Coach & Technical Director for Buriram United FC. Background & Education Papas began learning his coaching skills at the age of 16 while a player and started learning full-time after retiring as a player due to six knee operations at the age of 25. Papas chose to focus his efforts on obtaining the necessary qualifications to become a professional football coach. In 2008 Papas furthered his coaching education at a KNVB-run coaching course in Canberra. At this course Papas was identified by the KNVB instructors as a potential professional coach and was recommended to receive the Australian Sports Commission Coaching Scholarship Award. Papas would subsequently accept this Award and moved to Canberra as part of the High Performance Coaching Program aimed at developing the skills and experience to coach athletes at elite level sport. The club, established by members of Oakleigh's Greek Australian community, currently competes in the NPL Victoria. The club's home ground is at Jack Edwards Reserve, on Edward Street, Oakleigh. History South Oakleigh Soccer Club was established on 12 December 1972. The club soon changed its name to Oakleigh Soccer Club. In the 1970s and 1980s, the club steadily gained success by winning a number of Victorian Provisional, Metropolitan and State League divisional titles. A-League Men (known as the Isuzu UTE A-League for sponsorship reasons) is the highest-level professional men's soccer league in Australia and New Zealand. At the top of the Australian league system, it is the country's premier men's competition for the sport. The Indian Super League (ISL) is an Indian professional league for men's association football clubs. At the top of the Indian football league system, it is the country's primary football competition. Organised by the All India Football Federation (AIFF), and their commercial partners Football Sports Development Limited (FSDL), it is officially known as Hero Indian Super League for sponsorship ties with Hero MotoCorp. The 2012–13 I-League was the sixth season of the I-League, the Indian professional league for association football clubs, since its establishment in 2007. The season began on 6 October 2012 and finished on 12 May 2013 with Churchill Brothers crowned champions in matchday 25. Dempo S.C., Dempo were the defending champions, having won their third I-League title the 2011–12 I-League, previous season. On 29 December 2012, Mohun Bagan were barred from competing in the I-League for 2 years following a decision taken by the I League core committee. This was because they failed to turn up in the second half of the match against East Bengal F.C., East Bengal because of crowd trouble. Indian Arrows (formerly known as Pailan Arrows) was an Indian developmental football club that competed in the I-League. The club was formed by the All India Football Federation in 2010, with a main goal of nurturing young Indian football talents. After disbanding in 2013, the project was revived as ''Indian Arrows'' in 2017. Raymond Libregts (born 25 December 1964 in Rotterdam) is a Dutch football coach. Libregts is the son of former Dutch national team coach Thijs Libregts. Coaching career RBC Roosendaal Libregts began his coaching career in 2001 as the assistant coach at Dutch club RBC Roosendaal. He left during the 2002–03 season. Go Ahead Eagles Libregts signed with Go Ahead Eagles on 15 January 2003 as head coach of the first team who were in the Eerste Divisie, the second division of Dutch football. Rob Baan
Robert Baan (born 1 April 1943) is a Dutch football coach, appointed to the role of Technical Director for the Indian national team by the AIFF. He was the Technical Director of All India Football Federation. Biography Baan was born in Rotterdam, South Holland. Before joining the Indian team, he served the technical director role for the Netherlands, Feyenoord Rotterdam and ADO Den Haag.
