History The company was founded in 1998, with the original network centring around the market town of Northallerton and Wensleydale. North Yorkshire County Council (NYCC) is the county council governing the non-metropolitan county of North Yorkshire; an area composing most of North Yorkshire in England. Richmond is a market town and civil parish in North Yorkshire, England, and the administrative centre of the district of Richmondshire. Chester-le-Street (), also known as Chester, is a market town and civil parish in County Durham, England, around north of Durham and also close to Sunderland and Newcastle upon Tyne.
