Aron Sherriff
Aron Sherriff (born 29 October 1985) is an international Australian lawn and indoor bowler. Bowls career World Championship Outdoor Sherriff won the gold medal in the triples with Mark Casey, Brett Wilkie and Wayne Ruediger during the 2012 World Outdoor Bowls Championship in Adelaide. He also won silver in the pairs with Leif Selby. Four years earlier he had won a silver and bronze at the 2008 World Outdoor Bowls Championship in Christchurch, New Zealand. In 2016 he was part of the triples team with Barrie Lester and Mark Casey who won the silver medal at the 2016 World Outdoor Bowls Championship in Christchurch and he also won a bronze medal in the singles. In 2020, he was selected for the 2020 World Outdoor Bowls Championship in Australia but the event was cancelled due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Asia Pacific Bowls Championships
The Asia Pacific Bowls Championships formerly the Pacific Rim Championships was a bowls, lawn bowling competition held between national bowls organisations in the Asia Pacific region. The event was inaugurated in 1985, and it was initially held every two years but then took place every four years and was a qualifying event for the World Bowls Championship, World Outdoor Bowls Championships. In 2021, the 2020 World Outdoor Bowls Championship was officially cancelled due to the COVID-19 pandemic. World Bowls then decided that the World Championships would take place every two years starting in 2023. Barrie Norman Lester (born 1982) is an Australian international lawn and indoor bowler. Bowls career World Championship In 2016 he was part of the triples team with Aron Sherriff and Mark Casey who won the silver medal at the 2016 World Outdoor Bowls Championship in Christchurch and won another silver medal in the fours. In 2020 he was selected for the 2020 World Outdoor Bowls Championship in Australia. Commonwealth Games Lester won a bronze medal in the pairs with Nathan Rice at the 2006 Commonwealth Games in Melbourne. Brett Wilkie is an Australian international lawn bowler. Bowls career Wilkie came to prominence after winning the Australian national championship and qualifying for the 2009 World Singles Champion of Champions event, where he won the gold medal defeating Wayne Hogg of Scotland in the final.
