Arnout Schuijff
Arnout Schuijff (born 1967/1968) is a Dutch billionaire Internet entrepreneur, and the co-founder and chief technology officer (CTO) of Adyen. From 1997 to 2004, Schuijff was systems architect at Bibit Global Payment Services. In 2006, Schuijff co-founded Adyen. In June 2018, he became a billionaire after Adyen's IPO, based on his 6.4% stake in the company. Co-founder and CEO Pieter van der Does has a 4.8% stake worth $800 million, and his brother, Joost Schuijff, has a stake worth $500 million. Adyen is a Dutch payment company with status of an acquiring bank that allows businesses to accept e-commerce, mobile, and point-of-sale payments. It is listed on the stock exchange Euronext. Adyen offers merchants online services for merchants to accept electronic payments using payment methods including credit cards, debit cards, wire transfers, and real-time bank transfers based on online banking. It connects merchants to different payment methods, including international credit cards, local cash-based methods, and mobile payment methods. Joost () was an Internet TV service, created by Niklas Zennström and Janus Friis (founders of Skype and Kazaa). During 2007–2008 Joost used peer-to-peer TV (P2PTV) technology to distribute content to their Mozilla-based desktop player; in late 2008 this was migrated to use a Flash-based Web player instead.
