Arnot Mall is a shopping mall located in Big Flats, New York, in Chemung County. As of 2022, the mall currently maintains the traditional chains JCPenney, and Burlington. The mall currently features popular brands such as Bath and Body Works, American Eagle, and Talbot's. The malls located at 3300 Chambers Road ( Chemung County Route 35) and operated by Spinoso Real Estate Group. Arnot Mall is located along the Southern Tier Expressway ( Interstate 86/NY Route 17) at Exit 51A between Corning and Elmira. It is open seven days a week and has over 100 stores in all, including a food court and a Regal Cinemas 10. The mall maintains a Regal Cinema. Arnold () is a market town and unparished area in the Borough of Gedling in the Ceremonial counties of England, ceremonial county of Nottinghamshire in the East Midlands of England. It is situated to the north-east of Nottingham's city boundary. The Arnot Baronetcy was a title in the Baronetage of Nova Scotia. It was created on 27 July 1629 for Michael Arnot with remainder to heirs male whatsoever. His grandson, the second Baronet, represented Kinross (Parliament of Scotland constituency), Kinross in the Scottish Parliament. The title became extinct or dormant on the death of the ninth Baronet in 1838. Arnot Tower
Arnot Tower is a ruined 16th-century castle located in the grounds of Arnot Tower House, less than from Scotlandwell, Perth and Kinross, Scotland. The current building dates from c. 1507, though fortifications were present c. 1400. The castle has four storeys and a vaulted basement. It was built by the Arnot family who have records dating back to 1105. David Arnot of Fyfe (Fife) was one of 2000 noble landowners required to swear allegiance to King Edward I of England in 1296. Nicol Arnot Arnot was a loyal supporter of King Robert the Bruce. Robert Arnot was killed in the battle of Flodden in 1514. The Arnots abandoned the old tower around 1700. The castle is a scheduled monument. Arnot Power Station in Mpumalanga, South Africa, is a coal-fired power plant operated by Eskom. Coal from the Arnot coal mine directly feeds the station. History Construction of Arnot started in 1968, this generation unit went on line in 1971 and the station was fully operational by 1975. Between 1992 and 1997 three of its units were mothballed due to Eskom's surplus generating capacity, but they were brought back online in January 1997, November 1997 and December 1998 respectively. The cooling towers were constructed using a unique convex slip-form process by the contractor Concor. Power generation Power generation was originally by six 350 MW units with a total installed capacity of 2,100 MW.
