Arne Jansen
Arne Jansen (born 26 November 1975) is a German jazz guitarist. Biography As a teenager Jansen picked up the guitar, inspired by Jimi Hendrix and the Dire Straits. The great storytellers of pop, such as Bob Dylan and Joni Mitchell also belonged to his early sources of inspiration just like the Beatles and Pink Floyd, who he discovered in his parents' record collection. At the age of 17 he discovered the music of Pat Metheny and John Scofield, which opened up new horizons for him. Then Jansen studied jazz guitar at the Berlin University of the Arts (1996-2001), with Jeanfrancois Prins, David Friedman, , and . David Helbock
David Helbock (born 28 January 1984 in Koblach) is an Austrian jazz musician. Music education Helbock began playing piano at the age of six. After several years of lessons at the music school Feldkirch with Nora Calvo Smith and at the jazz seminar Dornbirn with Paul Winter, he switched to the music high school in Feldkirch in 1998. During school he began to study piano with Ferenc Bognar at the Vorarlberg State Conservatory, where he completed his classical concert diploma in 2005. Peter Herbolzheimer
Peter Alexandru Herbolzheimer (31 December 1935 – 27 March 2010) was a Romanian-German jazz trombonist and bandleader. Biography Herbolzheimer was born to a Romanian mother and a German father in Bucharest, Romania. His family emigrated in 1951 from Communist Romania to West Germany. In 1953, he moved to the United States, where he enrolled in Highland Park high school in Michigan, graduating in 1954. He was a member of choral groups and orchestra and played guitar in bands in Detroit. In 1957, he returned to Germany and began playing valve trombone in "open mike" groups. He returned to Michigan, but his visa was denied. For one year he studied at the Nuremberg Conservatory. In the 1960s, he played with the Nuremberg radio dance orchestra and with Bert Kämpfert's orchestra. Eva Kruse
Eva Kruse (born 16 October 1978) is a German jazz musician (upright bass, bass guitar) and composer. Biography Kruse was raised in Brunsbek in Schleswig-Holstein. In her childhood and youth, she received eleven years of classical piano lessons and at the age of fourteen, at the suggestion of a teacher, began to learn the bass guitar. She played in the school big band and the ''Bargteheider Vorstadtkrokodilen''.
