Armenian Newspapers
Armenian newspapers are published in Armenia and in the Armenian diaspora where there are concentrations of Armenians. Usually the newspapers are in the Armenian language, but many of the Armenian diaspora newspapers will usually have supplements or sections in the national language of the country where the newspaper is published. Housaper
''Housaper'' ( hy, Յուսաբեր, ) is an Armenian language And Arabic daily published in Cairo, Egypt. It was established in 30 March 1915, and until 1926, it was published three times a week, before becoming a daily published on weekdays. In 1923, it became an official organ of the Armenian Revolutionary Federation (Dashnaktsutyun) in Egypt. Some of the editors in chief of the paper were S. Bartevian, S Yesayan, V. Navasartian, K. Lazian, G. Goganyan, S Bayramian, and Z. Lylozian. Ayk (daily)
''Ayk'' (in Armenian Այգ meaning dawn in Armenian) was an Armenian daily newspaper published in Beirut Mondays to Fridays for the period 1953 to 1975. It was established by Dikran and Lucy Tosbat, as an independent non-partisan Armenian daily in stark contrast to the three other Lebanese Armenian dailies that were partisan and official party organs: '' Aztag'', the organ of the Armenian Revolutionary Federation (Tashnag), '' Ararad'', the organ of the Social Democrat Hunchakian Party (Hentchag) and '' Zartonk'', the organ of the Armenian Democratic Liberal Party (ADL – Ramgavar). Zartonk (daily)
''Zartonk'' ( hy, Զարթօնք) is a daily newspaper and the official organ of the Armenian Democratic Liberal Party (ADL) in Lebanon, (also known as Ramgavar Party). The paper was founded by Mihran Damadian and Parounag Tovmassian in Beirut on 26 September 1937, and is based in the Tekeyan Centre in Jemayze, Beirut. Both were high-ranking officials in ADL. The Armenian renowned writer Vahan Tekeyan remains one of the most prominent figures that contributed to the paper and its first editor-in-chief. After Tekeyan moving to Cairo, Kersam Aharonian took the editing becoming the paper's longest standing editor and writer for 33 consecutive years. Vartkes Kardashian was the paper's administrator for more than a decade.

''Massis'' (in Armenian Մասիս) is a Lebanese-Armenian publication published by the Armenian Catholic Patriarchate in Lebanon. History and profile ''Massis'' was established in 1947 by Cardinal Gregorio Pietro Agagianian in Beirut. A long-serving editor of the publication was Father Antranik Granian. It stopped publication temporarily in the 1990s and restarted in 2005, with Sarkis Najarian as editor in chief. Azdarar
''Azdarar'' ( hy, Ազդարար) (pronounced Aztarar in Western Armenian) was the first Armenian language newspaper ever published. It was established on October 16, 1794, in the city of Madras (now Chennai) in India by Father Harutyun Shmavonyan. It is also the first non-English newspaper to be published in India. The monthly covered mainly cultural and historical issues. Azdarar continued for a year and a half until March 1796. During that period, Father Shmavonian published 18 issues, 965 pages in total.
