Armağan Çağlayan
Armağan Ali Çağlayan (born 8 April 1966) is a Turkish television producer and lawyer. Career Çağlayan taught Creativity in Communication as a research assistant at the Faculty of Art and Design at Istanbul Kültür University and lectured at the Public Relations and Advertising and Visual Communication departments at Beykent University. He later worked as a columnist and conducted interviews for ''Radikal'' newspaper. On 3 February 2016, he started writing for ''Nokta'' magazine. In April 2017, Çağlayan continued his career by preparing reports for ''Posta (newspaper), Posta'', and a month later left his position as a journalist and joined Kanal D on 8 June 2017. 17 Following the sale of Kanal D to Demirören Group, Demirören Media Group on 17 May 2018, he was dismissed along with many other media employees. Armağan Ballantyne (born 7 August 1972) is a New Zealand film director. She is best known for her feature films ''The Strength of Water'' (2009) and ''Nude Tuesday'' (2022). Biography Ballantyne was born in Wellington in 1972. Her first name is Turkish language, Turkish, and was the name of a family friend. In 1996, Ballantyne directed the music video for Emma Paki's "Don't Give It Up", which won an award. Afterwards, Ballantyne studied film in Sydney and Prague. From 2001 to 2002, Ballantyne worked a director for the New Zealand youth television series ''Being Eve''. In 2009, she released her debut feature film ''The Strength of Water''. Written by Briar Grace-Smith, the film focuses on the story of two Māori youth in rural Hokianga. Eşref Armağan (born 1953) is a blind painter of Turkish origin. Born without sight to an impoverished family, he taught himself to write and paint. He has painted using oil paints for roughly thirty-five years. Using a braille stylus to etch the outline of his drawing, Armağan requires total silence to create art. Oil paint is then applied with his fingers and left to dry fully before a new color is applied. This unique method is used so that colors do not smudge. The art pieces themselves are created without help from any individual. He is also able to create art that has visual perspective. In 2004, he was the subject of a study of human perception, conducted by the psychologist John M. Kennedy of University of Toronto and proved that a person who is blind from birth can develop absolutely normally without visual contact with the outside world.
