Arman Alizad
Arman Alizad (born 12 January 1971) is an Iranian-Finnish master tailor, fashion columnist and TV personality. He is best known for the martial arts series ''Kill Arman'', which has aired in over 100 countries around the world. Alizad has also hosted several other Finnish TV series, such as '' Dresscode'', ''Unisex'', ''Loman Tarpeessa'' and ''Arman Reilaa''. Early life Alizad was born in Tehran, Iran, in 1971. When the Islamic revolution started in 1979, his family first escaped to the United States and eventually Finland, where his grandparents had been living. He has lived there ever since. He was active as a child and enjoyed skateboarding and football. Tailoring career Alizad graduated from a basic tailoring school in 1992, and became an apprentice to master tailor Jouni Korhonen. BBC Knowledge
BBC Knowledge was a British television channel which was owned by the BBC and was launched on 1 June 1999, broadcasting documentary, cultural and educational programmes. It was shut down on 2 March 2002, and was replaced by BBC Four. History Launch The BBC had been wanting to expand into the digital television market for a number of years prior to BBC Knowledge's launch. Originally this was by their association with Flextech, which spawned the UKTV network. Both companies had different ideas on how the new channels would be run: the BBC wanted the channels branded as BBC channels, but Flextech wanted the channels to contain advertising. ''Under the North Star'' ( fi, Täällä Pohjantähden alla) is a trilogy published between 1959 and 1962 by Finland, Finnish author Väinö Linna. The novel follows the life of a Finnish family from 1880, through the First World War, the Finnish Civil War and the Second World War, to about 1950.
