Arjunsinh Udesinh Chauhan
Arjunsinh Udesinh Chauhan (born 22 June 1976) is an Indian politician currently serving as a member of the Gujarat Legislative Assembly, representing the Mehmedabad Assembly constituency. He served as the Minister of Rural Housing and Rural Development in the Gujarat government from 2021 to 2022. From 2017 to 2022, he served as an MLA from the Mehmedabad Assembly constituency as a member of the Bharatiya Janata Party. Following the 2022 Gujarat Legislative Assembly election, he was re-elected as an MLA from the Mehmedabad Assembly constituency. Gujarat Legislative Assembly or Gujarat Vidhan Sabha is the unicameral legislature of the Indian state of Gujarat, in the state capital Gandhinagar. Kheda District
Kheda District is one of the thirty-three districts of Gujarat state in western India. It is part of the region known as Charotar, consisting of Kheda and Anand districts. Its central city Nadiad is the administrative headquarters of the district. History Formerly known as Kaira district, it was divided in two with the southern part becoming Anand district in 1997. 2022 Gujarat Legislative Assembly Election
Legislative Assembly election was held in Gujarat from 1 to 5 December 2022 in two phases, to elect 182 members of 15th Gujarat Legislative Assembly. The votes were counted and the results were declared on 8 December 2022. The Bharatiya Janata Party, won a huge majority of 156 seats, the most ever won by any party in Gujarat's history. The Indian National Congress fell to its lowest count in the state for 3 decades, and the newcomer Aam Aadmi Party gained five seats.
