Ariane Ascaride (born 10 October 1954) is a French actress and screenwriter. 2015 Cannes Film Festival
The 68th Cannes Film Festival was held from 13 to 24 May 2015. Joel and Ethan Coen were the Presidents of the Jury for the main competition. It was the first time that two people chaired the jury. Since the Coen brothers each received a separate vote, they were joined by seven other jurors to form the customary nine-juror panel. French actor Lambert Wilson was the host for the opening and closing ceremonies. The Palme d'Or was awarded to the French film ''Dheepan'' directed by Jacques Audiard. On winning the award Audiard said "To receive a prize from the Coen brothers is something pretty exceptional. I'm very touched". Jacques Martineau (born 8 July 1963) is a French film director and screenwriter who works in collaboration with partner Olivier Ducastel. Life and career After spending his adolescence in Nice, Martineau moved to Paris to study at the Ecole Normale Supérieure. After graduating, he took up a teaching post at the facility. Olivier Ducastel (born 23 February 1962) is a French film director, screenwriter and sound editor who currently works in collaboration with partner Jacques Martineau. Life and career After spending his adolescence in Rouen, Martineau moved to Paris to study film and theatre at the University of the New Sorbonne. In 1988 he directed a short musical comedy, ''Le Goût de plaire''. In the same year, he acted as assistant to his mentor, Jacques Demy, on the film ''Trois places pour le 26'', the last film Demy completed before his death in 1990.
