Ariadne Von Schirach
Ariadne von Schirach (born 1978 in Munich) is a German philosopher, writer, journalist and critic. She is known as a literary critic for Deutschlandradio Kultur, and as an essayist and columnist for newspapers such as ''Die Welt'' and ''Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung''. She studied philosophy, psychology and sociology at LMU, the Free University of Berlin and the Humboldt University of Berlin. Baldur Von Schirach
Baldur Benedikt von Schirach (9 May 1907 – 8 August 1974) was a German politician who is best known for his role as the Nazi Party national youth leader and head of the Hitler Youth from 1931 to 1940. He later served as ''Gauleiter'' and ''Reichsstatthalter'' ("Reich Governor") of Vienna. After World War II, he was convicted of crimes against humanity during the Nuremberg trials and sentenced to 20 years in prison. Schirach Family
Schirach or Šěrach is a noble family of Sorbian (i.e. West Slavic) origin. Many family members were noted as theologians, lawyers, historians, writers and artists from the 17th century, and several family members have also been noted for their efforts to preserve the Sorbian language. The family was raised to the hereditary Austrian nobility in 1776. Family members are resident in Germany and, since the 19th century, the United States. History The name Šěrach is assumed to be derived from the Sorbian word ''šěrak'', meaning "greybeard" or "greyhead," in the sense of "old man" or possibly "wise man." Schirach is a Germanized spelling. The family's earliest known ancestor George Schirag was a farmer in Schiedel near Kamenz, and is mentioned in 1485. Benedict Wells
Benedict Wells (born Benedict von Schirach, 29 February 1984 in Munich) is a German-Swiss novelist. Life and career Wells grew up in Bavaria. At the age of six, he was sent to a state boarding school after his parents separated and had to deal with several problems. All of his school years were spent at boarding schools and homes. Following his graduation from high school in 2003, he decided not to go to university but instead moved to Berlin to pursue his writing. He made a living doing odd jobs. His first novel ''Becks letzter Sommer'' (''Beck's Last Summer'') was published in 2008 and received widespread acclaim. Ferdinand von Schirach (born 12 May 1964) is a German lawyer and writer. He published his first short stories at the age of forty-five. Shortly thereafter he became one of Germany's most successful authors. His books, which have been translated into more than 35 languages, have sold millions of copies worldwide and have made him "an internationally celebrated star of German literature."
