Aref Gholami } (born 19 April 1997) is an Iranian footballer who played as a center back for Esteghlal in the Persian Gulf Pro League. Club career He made his first Persian Gulf Pro League debut on 1 December 2016 against Gostaresh Foolad. International career On the 4th of October 2020, Dragan Skočić called him up for iran international football team ( Team Melli ) for friendlies against Uzbekistan and Mali. He made his debut for iran on 24 March 2022 against Korea Republic. Personal life His older brother Ali Gholami is also a footballer. Gorgan ( fa, گرگان ; also romanized as ''Gorgān'', ''Gurgān'', and ''Gurgan''), formerly Esterabad ( ; also romanized as ''Astarābād'', ''Asterabad'', and ''Esterābād''), is the capital city of Golestan Province, Iran. The 2022 Iranian Super Cup was the 8th Iranian Super Cup, an annual football match played between the winners of the previous season's 2021–22 Persian Gulf Pro League, Persian Gulf Pro League, Esteghlal F.C., Esteghlal, and the previous season's 2021–22 Hazfi Cup, Hazfi Cup, F.C. Iranian Super Cup
The Iranian Super Cup (Persian: سوپر جام ایران, ''Super Jam-e 'Iran'') is an Iranian association football trophy awarded to the winner of a match between the Persian Gulf Pro League's season champion and the winner of the Hazfi Cup. It is similar to numerous other Super Cup tournaments held in other countries. The tournament was only held once in 2005 when Hazfi Cup champions Saba Battery defeated league champions Foolad 4–0. The next edition of the Iranian Super Cup was planned to be played on 10 August 2007 between the 2006–07 league champions Saipa and the Hazfi Cup winners Sepahan but the match was cancelled. After Mehdi Taj was elected as Federation president in 2016, the Iranian Super Cup was restarted. The 2021 Hazfi Cup was the 34th season of the Iranian football knockout competition. Foolad F.C., Foolad won the competition after deafiting Esteghlal F.C., Esteghlal in the final. Iranian Hazfi Cup
Hazfi Cup (Jām-e Hazfi; ) is the Iranian football knockout cup competition, run by the Iranian Football Federation. The Iranian football league was not held during the 1980s, hence the winner of Hazfi Cup represented Iran in the Asian Club Championship. After the revive of the league system, the champion of Iranian league qualified for Asian Club Championship and the winner of Hazfi Cup ran for Asian Cup Winners' Cup. However, the Asian Cup Winners' Cup merged with the Asian Champions Cup in 2002–03 to form the AFC Champions League and Iran had been initially given two (and later four) slots in this competitions. The IRIFF decided to award one of Iran's AFC Champions League spots to the winner of the Hazfi Cup, and since then, the winners of Hazfi Cup have always been allocated a spot in the AFC Champions League. The Persian Gulf Pro League ( fa, لیگ برتر خلیج فارس, ''Lig-e Bartar-e Xalij-e Fârs''), formerly known as the Iran Pro League ( fa, links=no, لیگ برتر ایران, ''Lig-e bartar-e Irân''), is the highest division of professional football in Iran.
