"Are You Gonna Go My Way" is the first single to be released by American musician Lenny Kravitz from his third studio album, ''Are You Gonna Go My Way'' (1993). It was written by Lenny Kravitz and Craig Ross. The single has been covered by numerous artists, such as Metallica, in a medley for " MTV Hits" at the 2003 MTV Music Video Awards, Tom Jones for the ''Jerky Boys OST'', Robbie Williams on Jones' 1999 album ''Reload'' and Mel B in her solo section of the Spice Girls 2007 Reunion Tour. Serbian hard rock band Cactus Jack recorded a version on their live cover album ''DisCover'' in 2002. A remixed version is played as the opening theme song in '' Gran Turismo 3: A-spec''. The album was recorded on the band's concert held on 23 December 2001 in the Coupe club in their hometown Pančevo. It features 19 covers of songs by various rock acts. Cactus Jack (band)
Cactus Jack is a Serbian rock band formed in Pančevo in 1998. Led by guitarist Stevan Birak and fronted by vocalist Vladimir Jezdimirović, the group started as a cover band. Cactus Jack's debut release was the live cover album ''DisCover'' (2002), followed by the live tribute album ''Deep Purple Tribute'' (2003). The band presented themselves with traditional hard rock sound, the releases bringing them attention of the audience and the media. The band released their first album of their own songs, entitled ''Natur all'', in 2004, followed by the album ''Mainscream'' (2005).
