Cactus Jack (band)
Cactus Jack is a Serbian rock band formed in Pančevo in 1998. Led by guitarist Stevan Birak and fronted by vocalist Vladimir Jezdimirović, the group started as a cover band. Cactus Jack's debut release was the live cover album ''DisCover'' (2002), followed by the live tribute album '' Deep Purple Tribute'' (2003). The band presented themselves with traditional hard rock sound, the releases bringing them attention of the audience and the media. The band released their first album of their own songs, entitled '' Natur all'', in 2004, followed by the album '' Mainscream'' (2005). In the years following the release of their second studio album, the band failed to maintain mainstream popularity and returned to club performances with female vocalist Bojana Racić, including a number of funk and pop rock covers into their repertoire. Pančevo
Pančevo (Serbian Cyrillic: Панчево, ; german: Pantschowa; hu, Pancsova; ro, Panciova; sk, Pánčevo) is a city and the administrative center of the South Banat District in the autonomous province of Vojvodina, Serbia. It is located on the shores of rivers Tamiš and Danube, in the southern part of Banat region. Since the 2011 census 123,414 people have been living in the Pančevo administrative area. Pančevo is the fourth largest city in Vojvodina and the ninth largest in Serbia by population. Pančevo was first mentioned in 1153 and was described as an important mercantile place. Funk Music
Funk is a music genre that originated in African American communities in the mid-1960s when musicians created a rhythmic, danceable new form of music through a mixture of various music genres that were popular among African Americans in the mid-20th century. Serbian Language
Serbian (, ) is the standardized variety of the Serbo-Croatian language mainly used by Serbs. The Belgrade Fair – Hall 1, is Belgrade Fair's largest exhibition space. The hall opened to the public in 1957. It was the world's largest dome between 1957 and 1965 and is Europe's largest dome. Construction The Hall 1 is constructed between 1954 and 1957 by Branko Žeželj and Milorad Pantović. It is located on new Belgrade Fair ground on the right bank of the Sava River.
